-5 years later-

Aaron and I had our hands full – three kids in five years is a lot for anyone, but especially for us since we both decided to keep working. We figured it out though, and Haley and Todd have helped out a lot. I'm getting some files to Garcia when I run into JJ.

"Oh, hey! Did you see my text?" JJ asks over her shoulder.

"Text, text, hmmm. Probably! What was it about again?"

"Karaoke tonight, you and Hotch coming?"

"Oh, yeah! My parents are in town so they're watching the kids for us so we can be there!"

"Perfect! We hardly see you anymore!"

"You see me at work all the time, what are you talking about?" I say with a laugh.

"I know you have your hands full, but karaoke from time to time won't hurt, Y/N!"

"She's right baby girl, where's our karaoke fanatic?" Morgan says, crossing his arms with a smile.

"She got married and had some kids, Morgan. I apologize if karaoke is not my top priority right now." I fake scowl at him. "Anyway, stop distracting me, I need to take these to Garcia." I turn and hurry to her office, rapping quickly on the door.

"Come in beautiful!" I hear her chirp.

"How did you know it was me?" I ask, smiling.

"Because you're the only one who knocks so politely, what do you have for me today?"

"Possible homicide victims, but we're not sure. The team is split on if they're staged or not. Work your magic?"

"For you, Y/N? Anything!"

"Thank you, Garcia!" I make my way back into the bullpen to see that Hotch has called a meeting in the boardroom. I make my way up the stairs slowly, mindful of my swollen belly, and take my seat. He winks at me and starts the meeting.

"As you know, Y/N and I are expecting twins in two months, and she'll be on maternity leave after that. JJ has already agreed to help cover some of Y/N's duties while she's gone but I may need you guys to cover various tasks during her leave. Any questions?"

"Yeah, uh, how many more kids are you going to have after this one?" Morgan says raising his hand.

"Next question," Hotch says shortly, and I smile.

"I mean, just saying, if you guys would stop screwing each other's brains out and getting pregnant again we might actually get some work done around here," Morgan mutters, and even Reid is holding back a smile at that.

"What was that?" Hotch says, tone dangerously low.

"Nothing, Hotch. I didn't say a word." He shoots back, giving me a quick grin and I wink at him, rubbing a hand over my belly. The rest of the meeting goes off without a hitch, and I stay seated as everyone clears out.

"There's no need to tear Morgan to shreds, Aaron. He does kind of have a point." I say softly, but with a smile.

"I know, I know." He says, pressing a chaste kiss to my forehead and then my belly. "Feeling okay today?"

"Yes, just back pain. Twins are a lot more than a single baby. I'll be excited when they're finally here." One of the babies kicks, and my hand flies down to feel it. It's a feeling I've never quite gotten used to despite having three kids before these two.
