raya sat there, seated in her chair, heart racing. this feeling felt like she was on a roler coaster that just kept falling, and falling, and falling. in a never-ending cycle. what's worse is that all this turmoil was caused by the simplest and stupidest thing. a smile. that's all there was to it. nothing more, nothing less. but what made it matter was that it was him. but he shouldn't even matter to her. it was all just so strange. a regular looking boy with brown hair and light skin. all he had done was look down and smile. but the smile was hers. but there was something strange about that interraction. it was strange how the boy looked up from her, to the far end of the room, and instantly, the smile fell. instead taking its place.... fear. but when she turned, nothing was there. and the boy was still smiling at her. as if she'd dreamed it all up.
