I can't remember when it all changed exactly, was it our arrival into this country or was it way before that when mom and dad used to chat about urban myths from here.

Or is it really just when we were taken into Himmelreich?...

I really cannot remember and nowdays...i do not wish to remember, it is best i stay so lost because i already have enough misery to think about.

Black has changed...alot, the usual smile he donned now looks so scary, it doesn't make me happy nor feel warm as it did, it's nothing like how it was back in our home.

He always stares at me with a look that doesn't sound a single bit close to that of my brother's, he is just...a machine nowdays.

He is strong, smart and capable while i am only with him because he ordered it so, the people in Himmelreich do not care about useless and uninteresting tools like me, i am just a stupid girl to them.

And they're not wrong...i am not special like Black, he's strong willed and everyone loves him, some people even began treating him like he's god to them because of how special he is.

But...i don't want that...i just want my brother back, not this...statue of a divinity he's living as, i want the Black that used to lecture me about my seemingly controversial opinions on the royal family back home as kids.

Telling me 'You're too young for that White!' and pinching my cheek, the Black that used to also give lectures to mom and dad about their journalism when he would turn around and hide behind a tree whenever someone new appeared.

The confident yet so shy and lost Black not this one...this...monster.

I stepped slowly through the grass within this somewhat abandoned area in berlin my home for a few years now.

This place looks like it went through war yet at the same time it's so peaceful.

Looking up slightly, i found a young man with short blonde hair and red eyes, wearing a black hooded jacket and round glasses sitting on top of some rubble.

"Black!" i called out as i raised my hand towards him and he turned around slightly.

"Oh White!, good morning" he said as he smiled warmly at me.

"Mhm!, your mornings are weird...why are you sitting here all the way away from...home" i asked as Black got off and smiled calmly at a large heap of rubble and pointed at it.

"I came here to see that and think a little..."

Think...i wonder what you think of nowdays...

"I-I see..." i muttered as i looked away and Black chuckled.

"That place supposedly inspired the start of our miserable home and various others, even then it was still burned down by it's own creation and nothing came to be glorious out of it...in man's search for his compos mentis, he has created the opposite, complete dementia and manical thinking, quite ironic isn't it...Mary?"

Ah...he's...using my real name...i suppose a simple good morning was the extent of our relationship as a family today...

"I...I don't know..." i muttered as he chuckled slightly and put his hands in his pocket.

"A few years ago i read a children's book within the library, it was titled 'Obětní Beránek', it's a story about a herd of sheep who lived quite happily with one another, their lives were merry and full of peace until a big bad wolf appeared, he didn't demand of them to all die for him, he simply wanted one lamb. All the lambs rejected his offer...all but one, it was a weak and cowardly lamb but it chose to be the one for the job!, the wolf accepted it, he didn't really ask for a specific kind of lamb after all...what came to be the most amusing part of the tale was the fact that the wolf wasn't able to kill the lamb and the lamb wasn't dying, each time he ate from it would painfully recover and walk back, the wolf would normally rejoice at such an occurance, infinite food is what most people would think he'd be happy about but no, the wolf wanted nothing more than to have one last meal and that lamb he chose and adored couldn't grant him such a thing, that is until a passing farmer, a young boy offered a small proposition 'What if you ate from his flesh and he did the same unto you?' he said, the lamb found such a proposition to be insane but the wolf immediatly agreed, a thousand seconds spent in convincing the lamb, each felt like an eternity until the lamb submitted and accepted it, the wolf and the lamb took a bite from each other's flesh and as soon as they did...they recieved the sweet release of death, a few days after when the lambs returned to check up on the wolf and their friend they found nothing but a simple rose upon the den..."

I stayed silent as i thought a little...the lamb was immortal or at least...it would never be completely dead, it lived ignorant of such a fact until it met the wolf, the wolf wanted to disappear and he wanted to have one last meal, he soon found that the meal he chose would never die unless it took on his role and ate him, the only way the wolf could die if his antithesis became himself...

"Bla-...no...William, what is the identity of the farmer?...how did he know what to do?" i asked to which William smiled slightly as he rubbed his chin.

"Some say he is the shepherd of the lambs but i think he can only be one person...the son, the only one who would know how to bring peace so easily would have to be the creator itself am i right?"

The son?...like in the trinity?, eh...i guess it is a fair theory but...it is quite wild.

"I see...that's...not impossible i guess"

William giggled a little before sighing as he looked up to the sky.

"Soon we'll be heading east right?...to that place where the light is at"

I nodded slightly as i looked away.

"I...I don't want to go there...Black, can we please just go back home?, i don't want to play this game anymore...i just want things back to the way it was, me, you, mom and dad just living everyday with a smile within the lush green fields!"

"If i could move on ahead as i please i would've done so already but we've both learned the hardway that this is not how it is, so once again i'll say this to you Mary...don't be naive"

I am not naive...i know very well we're caged but...you don't look scared or anguished or even enraged, you look happy, you look like you wanted this but why?!, did that smile i knew all that time ago lie to me?.

"What if i run away? What if i don't play by the rules you and that man want of me?!, what are you gonna do huh?!!" i yelled out as William turned around smile calmly at me.

The sun behind him has finally somewhat appeared as he spoke up with a cold tone in his voice.

"Don't be naive, Mary...That's an order"

I shivered slightly in fear as i stepped back...what's with that look William...what...happened to you?.

William then sighed as he raised his hand to the sky with a disappointed look.

"Ahh ahh we humans are far too sad and hopeful, we're hard workers who are so good that calling us fools should be made  a sin!, we create so many demons and then cry and blame the world for it."

William then stepped forward and put his hand through my hair as he smiled calmly at me.

"But worry not, demons or angels...you will be alright Mary..."

William walked away from me leaving me sitting alone in the field before the rubble as my eyes grew wet with tears.

"You stupid idiot..." i muttered as i hid my face away.

I miss the times of when we used to play, when i was the strong sister who would protect you while you advised me like some sort of parent, or the times when we first came here and met Uncle Grimmer, we used to try and make him stop smiling but he'd never let go of his smile.

Do you remember these times as well as i do...Black?.
