6 : past

Jimins's pov :

I looked at the photo in my hand. Everything is making sense now. The mole on her hand, her smile and that invisible string that is connecting me to her constantly. Is she her? Is she my angel?

FLASHBACK

"Chim chim" called my Eomma. "Yes maa?" I questioned looking at my sister in the crib. She was giggling throwing her fists in air and I felt so happy looking at her.

"We are going to get home Jiminie so I guess you should say bye to your uncle and aunt" she said caressing my cheek and I pouted. I didn't wanted to leave so soon.

"Maa I want to stay a little longer! Uncle is going to take me fishing today evening" I whined and she just chuckled. "What's happening here?" asked my dad entering the room.

At the sight of my sister, he picked her up, swaying her side to side and kissing her forehead lightly. "Does my boy wants to stay longer here?" I nodded immediately with a smile.

"But then whom will your sister play with back at home?" He asked with a mischievous smile. "Appa! I promise I'll be back soon, please let me stay." I said pouting. He chuckled. "Alright, alright!" He said and I jumped around happily.

He kept her back in the crib and I went to her. "Angel I'll be back soon to you, don't miss me much" I said and she looked at me with her bambi eyes. "We gotta go" said my mother and we went out with her.

They greeted goodbyes to my uncle and aunt. They went towards the car and just as they were going to sit inside, I called for my mom and she looked at me with a smile. I went to her, practically to my angel as my mother lowered down at my level with my sister in her arms.

I kissed her cheek with a smile and my mother patted my head lovingly. "She will miss you. Come back soon to her hmm? Also don't trouble your uncle and aunt ok?" She said to which I nodded.

They went away but I didn't knew they were going away forever.

END OF FLASHBACK

The city was enveloped by dark clouds that day and so was my life darkened in the same colour. I lost them in a car accident. That day we reached the sight only to see the car burning to ashes.

Someone from the witnesses said that among all, the little baby was still breathing and hence was taken to the hospital. But it was known to us after days in a police investigation that was done through the CCTV of that day. With whom? I don't know. My uncle and aunt tried to find where my angel was taken but no one knew. She was adopted, was said by the staff there, but unfortunately the files which had her information about the adoption process was lost. Fate really plays the worst sometimes.

And what could a boy of five like me do in this situation. Only if I could have went with them. Atleast my life would have ended up with my family and not to just survive without them. But I had a purpose to live, my angel who was still alive but was she?

Years passed but I didn't knew her whereabouts. I had lost my hope, hope that I will find her. I tried to cope up with my life, Taehyung, he is the only one who knows my past and he is the one who still says me not to loose hope.

I guess he was right. You are back, my angel, I have found her haven't I? I should not jump into conclusions but what I have seen from the last few weeks it resembles just her. If universe has sent you back to me then I should not leave this chance.

Maybe it will shock you, maybe you don't know the past. But I can't keep it to myself seeing you after the span of 25 years.

End of pov

You were walking tiredly to your boss's cabin after checking the files he has told you to check. He always had to do this during the lunch hours. "That rude piece of ice" you huffed out in annoyance.

"Who is the rude piece of ice Miss Lee" he said straight in my ear from the back. A shiver tan down your spine hearing his deep husky voice. You gulped and turned to him. "Aren't you supposed to be inside your office Mr Kim?" I asked dying from inside.

"That doesn't answer my question Miss Lee" he deadpanned seriously. "Hehe I was obviously not talking about you Mr. Kim"  you said but his questioning gaze clearly said he knew you were lying.

"Watch out your words from the next time Miss Lee if you seriously don't want to overwork" he said going inside his cabin with you following him. "As if you don't do that" you muttered under your breathe that was clearly heard by him.

He didn't reply but just smiled to himself hearing your tantrums as always. He surely had fun teasing you, only you.

"Here are the files sir" you said as soon as he sat on his chair. He twirled his chair side to side looking at the file. You were waiting patiently there for him to reply you. Not taking it more you exclaimed, "sir!" to which he finally looked at you with a raised eyebrow.

"What?" He asked. "If you are done looking at the files, may I go back to my cubicle?" He just laughed and said, "Cubicle or the cafeteria Miss Lee?" You looked straight at him face void of emotions.

"If you know me that well Mr. Kim, I will better leave because I'm hungry!" "You are always!" He retorted back giggling. You folded your arms infront of your chest and turned around. "I'm going!" You said about to leave his cabin because the man didn't seem to stop laughing. What's so funny?!

"Wait wait!" He said still giggling and you turned to him. "What is it now, another joke to crack on me?" You asked as he straightened himself getting into his work demeanor. "You and me will be attending a meeting today evening with Mr. Kang" he said and you frowned.

"As in a dinner...?" You continued, "...at night with you?! Hell no!" You exclaimed to which he rolled his eyes. "Calm down Miss Lee, I ain't taking you on a date neither I would want to. It's a business meeting with a third person including who is apparently the age of our fathers!" He said and you nodded relieved by the piece of information.

"But that still means you have to drop me off at my house late at night" you asked and he nodded. "Is that a big deal now?" He asked and you just ignored his stare. "Yes yes! I can't stay with you for a long time, that too at night, you are dangerous!"

He smirked and said, "You got it right Miss Lee, but don't you worry" he said and you just looked at him. "Okay fine, now let me go!" You said and he just nodded with a chortle.

Once you were out of the cabin, he relaxed his back to his chair and smiled remembering the incident right now. "Miss Lee you are having a lot of attention from me, ain't you" he chuckled.
