You are a nurse at Mayhaven Asylum, recently hired. You've been here for a couple months, so you've only heard stories of how bad it gets here. How many lives have been lost in the past three years alone. 14. In this very building. It scared you a little, to know how dangerous these people are.
Then again, you didn't have anything to worry about, your only job was to clean the rooms when they weren't in them, or shove food into the door. You haven't had any bad experiences so far, and you hope that you never do. Though knowing this place, chances of that are slim.
You never really talked to any of the patients, never had to, never wanted to. The patients never really spoke to you. Except for one. He called himself: "Powerless Hero". It was said that he came in throwing a fuss. Yelling that he was trying to help, that there was corruption everywhere. He threw a fit like a child, until he was thrown into his room.
For hours he talked to himself, calling himself both "Murderer" and "Savior". Before speaking to him, you decided to look into why he was here, and a bit of his family history. Upon searching up what you thought would be difficult, you found that every member of his family was here at least once before him. His father for bipolar disorder, his mother for schizophrenia. Now him, for Multiple Personality Disorder.
From what you gathered on his story there's "Savior" that the whole town knew and loved for the good and just deeds he's done. Then theres "Murderer" or "The corruption" as he prefers, who landed him here in the first place. He went and murdered 15 innocents, 8 government officials, and 6 soldiers. Unfortunatly, "Savior", which through long hard research you discovered his real name to be Jason, didn't find out about his disorder until he was already in the asylum.
Every now and then you visit his room, having content conversations with Jason. Sometimes you visit him just to hear his voice. But a relationship between patients and nurses aren't allowed. Maybe there's a loophole through that rule..
