Ain't Nobody Got Time for This Kid

The Dursleys left their hotel, smiling happily. Today's the day!' They thought. They were going to ditch the good for nothing monster that was left on their doorstep.

They walked up a big hill and found a nice house, leaving him on the doorstep.

They were oblivious to the stares of everyone around them as the four year old blinked. Then started cheering.

He caught the attention of a butler that was passing by inside.

"Chi sei?" He asked. 'Who are you?'

"Harry Potter, signore." He said.

"Vieni con me, per favore." The man said. 'Follow me, please.' Harry nodded and took the man's hand.

The butler took Harry down to the kitchens and fed him, then asked him what happened. By this time, everyone had gathered around.

"Mi hanno lasciato sulla soglia. Ero felice, perché sono cattivi con me." 'They left me on the doorstep. I was happy because they are mean to me.' There were gasps as Harry described his relationship with his relatives.

"Gesù Cristo!" Someone shouted.

"Where is Giovanna?(This is still Italian, by the way.) Giovanna!" A tall woman pushed through the crowd.

"Giovanna, could you take him in, per favore?" The butler asked. The woman nodded immediately.

"Buongiorno, Harry. I'm Mamma Giovanna. Would you like to stay with me?" She asked gently. Harry nodded and slid down off the counter.

"Benissimo! Giovanna, please take Harry to get acquainted. And he can come here with you when you work as well. Maybe one day he could give an extra hand."

Harry and Giovanna left through the back door and got in her car.

"Would you like something to eat, Harry?" Giovanna asked as they stopped by a market.

"Si, signora! I love cooking." Harry proclaimed.

"Would you like to try gnocchi?"

And that's how Harry wound up in Giovanna's cozy house, helping make gnocchi.

They made the dough first, then rolled it up, then started the water boiling, then they started the sauce.
