Chapter 7

I stay in bed for another 20 minutes before I decide to get up. I look over at the clock that is on my nightstand. 8:24 at least I'm not waking up incredibly early. I get out of bed and walk over to my closet and put on one of my favorite dresses. I'm surprised Sebastian hasn't knocked on my door yet... He should be able to hear me getting ready. I walk over to my vanity and undo my braids from yesterday which leaves my hair a wavy mess. I brush through it just so it looks a little better. I head out of my room and Sebastian isn't here waiting for me.

"Where is that boy?" I see Mary walk past. "Mary?"

She stops and looks at me, "Yes dear?"

I look around and walk over to her, "Do you know where Sebastian is? He's normally at my door when I leave."

She looks around, "I haven't seen him yet, maybe check the guard wing?"

I smile and nod, "Thank you! Have a nice day." I head off. When I get there I see Juni standing outside the doors, "Do you know where Sebastian is?" I walk over to him.

"Oh, Hi Estella. I think his dad is talking to him. I assume in the training room."

I nod, "Okay, thank you Juni!"

I make my way to the garden and sit under our tree until Sebastian comes out. A few minutes later his father exits the building with Sebastian following after him. He spots me fairly quickly and jogs over to me.

"Hello," He sits down next to me and looks at me.

"Hi," I look down at my hands.

"What time is your lesson?'

I look up from my hands, "I think it's after lunch, it should be pretty short." I lay my head on his shoulder. "What were you and your dad talking about?"

He looks down at me, "Oh, just asking about when I'm going to do more training."

He's lying, I don't know why but I can tell. We sit there for a few minutes.

"Have you eaten yet?"

I look up at him and shake my head.

"You need food, let's go get something from the kitchen."

He gets up first and then I reach for his hands so I can get up. We start walking towards the kitchen.

"I like your dress, you look really pretty in it."

I look at him, "Thank you!" I turn away and smile.

When we make it to the kitchen there are only a few people working. Sebastian talks to a chef and he comes back with a plate of toast and fruits.

"How did you get that?" I take a strawberry from the plate.

"Me and the chefs are good friends and I might've mentioned that you are hungry." He smiles.

We make our way back to the garden and find a table to sit at. We share the fruit and toast since Sebastian hasn't eaten much today either.

"Good morning to you both!" Mother comes around from behind us.

"Good morning mother."

Sebastian looks up, "Good morning your highness."

I quickly grab a piece of watermelon and eat it.

"May I borrow Estella real quick?" She says while looking at Sebastian.

"Uh, sure?" He says while looking at me confused.

I get up and she takes me out of view from Sebastian. "What did you want to talk about?" I ask while fixing my dress.

"I wanted to ask about you and Sebastian, how's it going?" She cheers.
