The Book Of Flowers

Chapter 8

Nothing happens in June except the girls come over a few times. I still get flowers every day from the mystery person. It's the morning of July 5th... the kingdom's 206th anniversary. I wake up and roll around. I don't wanna get up yettt. Today is going to be a very long day. I finally get out of bed and walk over to my bathroom. I take a shower to wake myself up a little more. I walk back over to my bed and sit down. I look at the vase, Amaryllis, they are beautiful. Not even a second later Sebastian knocks on my door and then enters with breakfast. That's something that's been happening recently.

"Good morning Princess Estella." He smiles at me.

"Morning!" I move over to my table and start eating my breakfast. Once I finish Jane and Mary enter my room.

"Are you ready to start getting ready?" Mary walks over to me.

"Yep!" I walk over to my vanity and let them do their thing.

When they start doing my hair I see Sebastian leave the room with the dishes. They finish my hair about an hour later, they end up curling it.

"We're going to take a quick break before we do your makeup. We'll be back in a few minutes."

When they leave, my mother comes in and walks up behind me. "Estella, you have to tell Prince Alexander your answer today. I have a feeling what it will be though." She looks down at me.

"I'm sorry mother. I just don't want to marry him."

She kisses the top of my head, "I know sweetheart."

The door opens, "Oh, I can leave if you're talking." Sebastian says while standing in the doorway.

"I was just leaving, don't worry Sebastian." She walks past him and out of the door.

Sebastian walks in and over to me.

"How's it looking out there?" I look at him.

"Pretty busy, the town is very lively today."

We talk for a few minutes before Mary and Jane return. When they arrive, Sebastian leaves.

"Ready to do makeup?"

I nod. It takes about 20 minutes to do.

"Okay, all done! Now let's get this dress on!" Jane walks over to my closest and grabs my dress.

They assist me with getting my dress on, I then slip my shoes on and walk over to the mirror. Jane walks in front of me and puts my tiara on my head.

"You look stunning Princess." She smiles and walks away.

"Thank you both, I hope you guys have a fantastic day!"

They start packing their stuff, "You too dear." They leave the room. I leave a few minutes later.

"Are you ready to head to town?" He turns and looks at me.

"Yep! Let's go!" I start walking and after a few seconds he catches up to me.

"You look very pretty Stell."

I look up at him, "Thank you Sebastian."

We make our way to the carriage that takes us down to town. We arrive a few minutes later. I haven't seen the town like this before. We walk around and a ton of people come up to me and say hi. The buildings look really pretty with how they decorated the square. We walk around for 7 minutes before Sebastian says we need to make our way back to the castle. Apparently Prince Alexander is going to be there soon. We walk back to the carriage and it takes us back up to the castle and I head into the main hall where I am greeted by Iris.
