READERS POV
I used to watch in dismay as people continue about their lives praising Celestia, oblivious to the fact that they're the prisoners of the reality they lived in, they were obeying every wish of Celestia, oblivious to the fact that it was at the expense of their freedom. I think it's perfectly fine to follow a god's desires if you don't know what are yours but I believe a god shouldn't limit your wishes even for the sake of your being, who are they to stop you from dying by doing what you're most passionate about?
This arrogant and handsome self-proclaimed scholar caught my attention ever since he joined the Fatui.
As the more and more I learnt about this particular individual. I, in no circumstances, have seen such a dedicated person to their work, never witnessed someone willing to take such drastic measures even going as far as getting exiled from their community, he never let anything stop him in his tracks.
His skills as a scientist and his intellect far surpass my own, he has no restraint on his experiments, no moral compass to tell him 'no' to his creations. He is a man of unbridled curiosity, who knows no bounds or limits in how far he will go to advance his research, or further the progress to the advancement of science.
I never thought there would be someone I wanted to be, one who prefers to have all styles of perspectives on things from different times and settings, one who never lets anything easily steer themselves off their path, let alone a mortal, well-
A so-called mortal.
The guy has a variety of clones from different periods of his life, and I've noticed that they all have varying personalities from segment to segment. The personalities portrayed how he acted during each bit of his life, perhaps he created all of these segments because he truly doesn't know who he is, therefore he chooses to surround himself with the only thing that he has ever relied on, himself.
He is a man of ambition. He is a man of knowledge.
It's so bizarre. He knows nothing of me, yet I'm so fascinated by him, I watched as he progressed in life, you could say we grew up together, we're similar in age. I know so much about him yet so little, he's so unpredictable, and that is what makes him so entertaining to observe. But the more time I spent watching him, the more I understood how he acted.
It was as if I had woven our lives together as one without his knowing.
There's just this one lingering feeling of severe anger and jealousy, I hate him so much, I hate how he can be so free and cruel without consequences, while I pay the price of what wasn't even my cruelty.
I could just be him. I know I could probably just be him better than himself
Oh?Oh.
------- [💉] +.
"He is a dangerous man. His absolute indifference towards others' well-being is evident in his experiments, whether it be on living breathing animals, or humans. His experiments are dangerous, but his ambition and logic blind him to such, seeing them as necessary for the advancement of research, no matter what the cost is. In his eyes, he is merely pushing the boundaries of science for the greater good. In everyone else's eyes, he is a monster."
My pen drops onto the table as I stop taking notes in my notebook. I look over to Snezhnaya and search for Dottore's least prominent clone.
segment 56.
This will be the time I withdraw from Celestia at once.
(Author's) Notes :
-passio means passion
-this one is just a big mess jumbled together I'm sorry
