~Time passed~

It was starting to get darker outdoors. How would I know this? I suppose I've been starting at the window for a while. Marcus had made the decision to spend the afternoon alone and in his room. He's simply annoyed because we selected an innocent person. Why can't we simply jump out the window and flee this awful place? It's not quite as easy as it seems, unfortunately. Outside, bodyguards were positioned to guard the location. This includes both the day as well as the night. Yet I have observed that they exchange turns every between three and four hours. only in the event that someone might divert their interest.

Starting with these guards, it was getting monotonous. I'll never ever be capable of surviving nor distract them at the exact same time. They will pursue me, and I am not seeking to end my life. Selfishness is a solution, yet isn't that ironic? What the fuck do you expect of me? Just a human, I am. It can't do any harm to approach people, right? I got back up from where I was resting against by the window and headed in their direction. As soon as I was about to speak and join them to listen to their plan to escape. However,  we all understand this strategy isn't going to work out and will bring us in a worse scenario than what we are in now.

Flashbacks started to appear in my head. Remembering that night Ravon was murdered brutally. The same scenario will happen once again, but this time is Hannah. Even though I feel bad, nor care about her. I believe she deserves to die that way. Suddenly, I shake my head intentionally. Horror in my eyes, I'm starting to sound like the people in the speaker, happy that us. contestants are slowly being tortured mentally and physically. No this isn't me, am I slowly becoming a different person?

"Ahem, Adeline are you somewhat alright?" The girl with brown hair with pale eyes stare at me with confusion in her eyes.

It was Rosa. Shit, got to think quick. I can't be acting like this towards them, they can use this against me as suspicious action.

"Yes, sorry it's just I don't think this plan will..." I stood quiet for a moment then sigh and spoke again, "...work, and it's because as you can see outside there is plenty of guards. We won't be able to all escape and be free from this place."

"You're right but it's always better to have a positive mind, don't you think?" She asked.

"That's true, but too much confidence can lead you to your own death." I sigh.

No one spoke until I spoke and broke the silence.

"Am not saying you're wrong, but the brain plays tricks with your mind."

"I just want to go home." she cried.

"Dear, you're not the only one who does." I whined.

Now, that's settle back to my thoughts. These people are cold blooded am nothing compared to what they are. I hope they all will burn in hell and feel this torture we are feeling constantly now.

Now am starting to get worried. Marcus hasn't come out of his "room". I got up and walked towards the door that leads to his "room". I knocked without hesitation. No response, he didn't even bother to get up. If he did footsteps would have been heard, so a guessing he fell asleep or something. Perhaps, he can be ignoring the person at the door, which is me. Then I remember doors are unlocked till it's time for everyone to go to their bedrooms and sleep. I've grown up with strict parents telling me that It's not right to enter without permission but the feeling of being worried and the curiosity inside of me is taking the best of me. I need to know if he's okay.

Entering the room and looked right at him, he fell asleep. How clever, if my role was being the killer this would be a big advantage. Get rid of his poor soul, set him free from this place. I've notice that my cheeks were turning red, was I... blushing? I can't help it he looks so innocent and adorable when he's sleeping. His journal was laying right next to him, wide open. A little peek wouldn't mind right? Slightly stepped closer trying not to make any noise that would wake him up.

it was no use. When I was leaning on the bed trying to get at the journal I slid with the blankets, it was too late, he had woken up from the movement.

"Adeline w-what are you d-doing?" He asked nervously.

I started down at him in shocked. We looked at each other with no words. I was on top of him, pinning him down. His warm breath was hitting against my skin. My heart was racing and pounding hard like if it was going to come out of my chest. His lips looked very soft and sweet. Kiss him. Do it Adeline kiss him. Might as well do it while you're at it, pinning him down.

"S-sorry. I came up to check up on you." I spoke.

I was about to get off him until his hand was on my left cheek. Pulling me down towards him, giving me a small, innocent kiss.

-Third person P.O.V-

Both Marcus and Adeline stare at each other in complete silence. As soon Marcus was about to open his mouth and apologize for kissing her. She pulled herself towards him and kiss him deeply. She liked this felling. No, she loved it. They kept kissing without hesitation. Making out like the world was about to end. Finally, the love birds separated since they were both gasping for air. Adeline quickly got off him and left his room speechless. The poor boy was confused and left in wonder if he did something wrong.

That wasn't the case, though. Adeline understood she couldn't develop a romance with him since the two had only met recently and also because relationships in this location in particular is dangerous. Adeline was aware that one of their useless lives would come to an end. By that she meant death. She needed to find a way to get them both out of the house as fast as possible, even if she wanted to keep making out with him, she knew she couldn't.
