Elizabeth POV:
Three days have gone by after the incident, and no one said anything to anyone, especially not to me.
Anna was pissed at me when she heard about the thing I did. The boys didn't talk to me, not even Teo. I felt lonely, especially when I was at home, as I wasn't getting the usual attention.
"So what are you gonna do about this?" I heard Anna say beside me, giving her a confused look as my eyes dropped down at the notebook.
"Going to find a way to ask Mike," I said, still looking at the book.
She let out a loud laugh, making me look at her confusedly.
"You do remember that your family is angry at you, right?" She questioned, cocking her head to the side.
Shaking my head softly, I let out a breath before saying, "I'm gonna find a way. They can't be angry at me forever, right?" I said and questioned myself at the same time.
She looked at me before shaking her head, and that's when the bell rang.
"See you next week, girl," Anna said with a little wave.
Waving back at her, I got up from my seat before heading towards the school gate. I started going to school on my own because I didn't want any awkward rides with Zack. Still, in my thoughts, I didn't see a black car pull up next to me. Turning my head to the side, looking at it carefully.
"Get in, Mama," Austin said to me.
I gave him a confused look before looking at the car. He tapped his hand patiently, waiting for me to get in, but I stood there, asking myself the questions.
"Are you going dumb now? I said get in," he said this time.
Nodding my head quickly, I walked softly before getting into the car.
"Seat belts," he mumbled.
Grabbing my seatbelt, I looked at his side view before looking forward as we took off.
When he finally got to my house, he didn't say anything, just waited for me to leave.
Saying a little "thank you," I walked toward my house, opening the front door to be greeted by the quiet air. With a breath, I walked toward my room, closing the door softly behind me.
"Another day all alone," I said into the quiet house.
