17. What is Your Purpose (1.5)

     Cyno got caught up in a wild goose chase in which caused him almost three days time to finish up the work. After that he was pulled into another mess from the Akademiya on misuse of equipment and asked Cyno to retrieve it. Annoyed he was, he complied which also turned out to be another wild goose chase. 

     By the time he wanted to get back to the clinic to check on you, he has already have enough suspicions towards the Grand Sage and signs for him not to return. On top of that these missions he has been doing this past week, as well as what Tighnari told him about. 

      'Ah! The General Mahamatra! That girl you brought to us is being taken care of it's not suitable for you to visit her right now.' One of the doctors that was working at the time reported back after checking in onto the situation. 

     'General! We need you for another mission!' A matra called out to Cyno causing a slight groan from the silver haired male. Crossing his arms, Cyno signaled the matra to continue on with whatever this 'mission' is about. 

     '..And it's about smuggling canned knowledge, we are short on hand so I had to asked general for help. Sorry about that, I'm sure you were busy with other things. And-' 

     'No, it's fine. I'll go investigate it, although could you help me check on a patient in the clinic that has H/C hair and around this tall. Thanks Jay.' Cyno requested, lifting his hand up to a slightly taller height than him showing the matra your height.  

     'Of course, I'll go check on your friend general. Keep in touch soon!' Jay responded as Cyno quickly left and hopes he'll finish this task quicker. Jay walked towards the Clinic after seeing his superior off, asking to check on you. 

      'Your the General Mahamatra's subordinate?' The person who Jay was asking you replied as Jay nodded in response. 'The patient has been transferred under the Grand Sage's command to the Sanctuary of Surasthana so that the influence of Lesser Lord Kusanali's dendro powers might be able to heal Y/N's state of coma.'

      'Does the general know?' Jay asked, as he slightly got skeptical but still remained composed regardless. 'I believe the grand sage should have personally inform the General himself.' The person replied, he continued before walking away, 'If there is nothing else I'll go back to work.' 

      Jay knew perfectly well that the General Mahamatra doesn't know about the sudden relocation of his friend. However, there is nothing he could do now but inform the general himself as quickly as when Jays see him again. That is whenever, the investigation of canned knowledge comes to an end. Jay sighed as he quickly got back to work as well as keeping his eyes peeled for the said general.

      To understand the situation better, we all need to rewind to a few weeks before hand. Just right after you revealed your identity to Childe, the 11th of the Fatui Harbingers. 

     'Master Childe, There is a letter from Lord Dottore, the messengers says it's important.' An agent reported as he handed the letter to Childe. Childe dismissed the agent as he wanted some space to read this letter alone. 

     'Hope your doing well Childe. A little birdy told me about a certain long lost figure. It has peaked my interest, if you be so kind as in give me some information of that figure's whereabouts. I would be quite happy about that. Yours most favorable harbinger, Dottore.'

      Childe knitted his brows together, Dottore is asking him to sell you out behind your back. This letter also tells him that there are more potential spies of other harbinger's subordinates among his ranks. Conflicted, he decided to do what he do best all the time.
