You and Chishiya walked an insane amount of stairs. After finally reaching the top, you just looked at him. He brought you to the rooftop.
"For someone who doesn't 'run' you sure don't look fazed by the shit ton of stairs we just took." You said annoyingly, panting.
Chishiya stops walking but still has his back turned to you. He lets out a soft chuckle.
"We could have taken the elevator, but I wanted the exercise."
"That's a bit rich coming from you." You mumbled softly, glaring at the back of Chishiya's head.
You sighed. "Why'd you bring me here anyway?"
Chishiya walks to the edge of the rooftop and looks down. You slowly follow him.
"I have a plan, y/n." He takes a deep breath.
You look at Chishiya, confused. "Plan? A plan for what?"
Chishiya smirks a little and looks at you. "To get out of here, this world, this, Borderland." He turned his gaze back to the Beach.
"Tonight, while we're playing our game, I'm going to observe everyone. I'm going to see who is the right fit for this plan. Kuina has a game too, she'll be doing the same."
You raised your eyebrow at Chishiya. "Kuina? She knows about your plan?"
Chishiya nodded. "We came up with it."
You turned your body to face Chishiya's. He did the same.
"Can you explain to me what this 'plan' even is?" You crossed your arms.
Chishiya chuckled. "Simple. A robbery."
"A robbery?!" You gasped rather loudly.
Chishiya shushed you. "Keep your mouth shut. Nobody knows except us."
You just looked at him. Chishiya sighed.
"A robbery. We're going to find someone to steal the cards so we can leave."
"Are you crazy?!" You whispered loudly. "You'll die if you get caught!"
"Which is why I'm going to find someone as the bait. The original thought was going to be you, y/n, but I can't do that to Katsuki. He'd hate me."
You furrowed your eyebrows at Chishiya. "Why the fuck was I your first option?"
Chishiya shrugged. "You have the brains for it. If it wasn't for Katsuki, you wouldn't even be hearing this plan right now. I'd be explaining what you would be doing as stealing the cards."
Chishiya sighed, then continued. "Your heart is big, y/n. You would have fallen into the trap so easily. You want to save everyone, why? What purpose does anyone else have in your life?"
Your eyes start tearing up with anger. "You don't know me, Chishiya. Katsuki is my best friend. I'd do anything for him. But he would never put me in a dangerous position like that."
"I know." Chishiya chuckled. "Which is why I turned down the idea of you stealing the cards. So instead, you'll help me find someone tonight."
"In your dreams." You scoffed. "I'm not going to risk my life just so you can escape."
Chishiya didn't say a word. You started walking back to the staircase, stopping before you reached them. Without turning to face Chishiya, you spoke up.
"Is Katsuki really the reason why you didn't go through with me? I thought you don't care about what other people feel."
You waited for a moment, but there was no response. You sighed. "I'm going back down to the pool. I'll see you at our game."
