A day has passed since Alara had discovered the scientist Wyndham in the Demon Realm and brought him back to her planet. He had been task with finding and giving Alara the information and coordinates of the Gorgon Queen. Alara went down into the lab she made for him to go check on his progress . When she gets there, Wyndham is at his desk writing something down. "Whatever your scribbling had better have something to do with the Gorgon Queen, Wyrm." Alara says. Wyndham looks up in a panic and puts down what he was writing. Alara crosses her arms and raises an eyebrow. "Well?" Alara says impatiently. "Yes well, my previous client was a secretive woman to say the least. I never met her face to face myself. Finding anything about her above the surface level is proving difficult." Wyndham says. "Oh like hell. You nested yourself in the Demon Realm for God knows how long and worked in secret. Anyone who calls themselves the "Gorgon Queen" shouldn't be hard to find for you. Just quit slacking off." Alara says. Wyndham wipes some sweat from his brow. "Y-yes. As you wish." Wyndham complies. "Why'd she send you to destroy my Demon Realm anyway?" Alara asks. "She didn't tell me. She inquired my services and I complied as she promised a handsome reward." Wyndham says. Alara scoffs. "Well don't expect the same kindness from me. You tried to destroy my home, so this is how you're going to make it up to me. You work for me now. No compensation needed. Understand?" Alara says coldly and Wyndham shivers under her hateful glare. "O-of course! Without question!" Wyndham says. Alara looks up and thinks for a moment. "Hmmm, effective immediately. You will now only refer to me as Mistress from this point forward. Am I understood?" Alara says with a playful smile. Wyndham looks up at her with a combination of fear and disgust. Alara's smile quickly turns much darker and her eyes glow pink threateningly. Her gaze sends a chill down Wyndham's spine and he straightens up. "Y-yes, Mistress! As you wish!" Wyndham says in a panic. "Ahahaha! Good, Wyrm. Glad that we have an understanding of one another. I'm going to be checking back shortly. If you don't have anything to tell me about the Gorgon Queen, then there will be consequences." Alara says as she turns to leave up the stairs. Wyndham breathes a sigh of relief as she leaves. He looks on the floor for another book and cracks it open, wiping more sweat from his head. Alara goes back into her house and lounges out in her couch with a sigh. "Maaaaan, what a pain this is all turning out to be. I've gotten way more popular than I thought. Before anything else, I need to get all of these rodents off of my ass. First this Gorgon Queen sends two people to destroy me and my home. Then that nosey witch flukes her way here somehow, which by the way, while I'm at it..." Alara says as she raises her right hand. When she does a darkness falls over her planet that thrusts it into a permanent state of nightfall. "There. The atmosphere I created is no longer reflecting light, so it won't be showing up in the sky anymore. I suppose I should count my blessings it was just that witch that found me. I'm still not strong enough if I were to garner some... unwanted attention." Alara says to herself.
She'd spend the rest of the day relaxing herself until she found something on the Gorgon Queen. Meanwhile in Universe 6 on Prisco's planet, he arrives just like any other morning. And just like any other morning, Orianna appears in front of him with a ice spell that Prisco deflects as usual. "Good morning, Orianna." Prisco says, closing the door behind him. Orianna puts her hand back to her side and yawns. "Ah, good morning Prisco. How was your evening?" Orianna asked. "Eh, nothing really new to report. How was yours?" Prisco asks in return. Orianna looks down, her expression blank. "Hm. I... don't recall." Orianna says. Prisco raises an eyebrow as his God of Destruction clothes replace his normal clothes. "Don't recall? That doesn't seem like you. You're not really the forgetful type." Prisco says. "Hm. I suppose it wasn't too important if that's the case." Orianna says as she summons her staff. She taps it on the ground and her Angel clothes replace her pajamas. "Really? It sounded like you were in the middle of researching something. It's not like you to just drop something like that." Prisco adds. Orianna puts a hand to her chin. "Researching...? How peculiar." Orianna says, deep in thought. She then summons her laptop and opens it. She looks through her search history. "Demon Fusion? What interest would I have had in that?" Orianna asks herself. Prisco looks at her in confusion. "Uh, we were talking about it only yesterday. The whole thing with the Demon Queen? Remember?" Prisco asks. Orianna stares blankly at the laptop before closing it. "...no. I don't." Orianna says, a hint of suspicion in her voice. Prisco sighs. "You didn't have anything to drink last night again, did you? You know you've never handled that stuff well, even when you were alive. You probably did something to fry your own short term memory." Prisco suggests. Orianna ponders more, looking at the ground. "Hmm. That would explain why I woke up in the garden today..." Orianna says. "You what??? Oh whatever, let's just get started, huh? And try to be more careful with that stuff in the future." Prisco says as he walks past her and to the kitchen. Orianna stands in the living room for a moment longer deep in thought. "Yes yes. Let us, seize the day..." Orianna says as she eventually follows behind him. The day goes on as normal and a few hours later on Alara's planet, she goes to check on Wyndham again.
