Mia Ricciardo, the younger sister of f1 all-star Daniel Ricciardo, secured a surprise job managing the f1 YouTube channel, when her own videos began to get a fast following. She didn't tell her brother until last minute, and for good reason.

'Mia? Where'd you go?' Kika asked, snapping me out of my thoughts.
I'd spent the entire afternoon thinking about what he'd said to me, but I didn't want to tell Fran because I knew that she'd overreact.
'Sorry, just tired.' I smiled, reaching over to grab the sun cream from her.
'Tired or daydreaming about your hot boy toy?' She asked, wriggling her eyebrows.
'Both.' I sighed, laying back down and staring up at the sky.
'What's he done now?' She asked, in a jokey tone.
I knew that she was just trying to lighten the mood, but I'd not considered how serious me and Charles were for a few weeks, and now he'd done what he did, on live tv I was starting to feel a little overwhelmed.
'He said that he loves to stare at the ocean. He said my eyes reminded him of the ocean the night before. On tv.' I said, deadpan.
'Girl that's cute I don't know what you're stressing about.' She judged me excitedly.
'What if I'm falling for him?' I whispered.
'What if? You are.' She responded.
'No, maybe. I don't know.' I sighed.
'Why are you acting like this is a bad thing?' She questioned.
'My uncle died a few years back in f1. It tore apart my family. Me and Danny were there to watch it. I don't want to have to watch a man I love get hurt in the same way. Watching my brother race is stressful enough.' I explained.
Her face instantly softened as she gave me a supportive hand, squeezing softly to let me know that she was sorry.
'But you're going to fall for him either way. You cannot stop your feelings, fighting them is going to hurt you.' She begun.
'I guess.'
'And if he was to crash now, it would still hurt you, right? So the only difference is that you're holding back your feelings.' She said softly.
'Not to mention my brother would kill us both. We've already lied to him once.' I explained.
'He'll get over it, he's an adult. Just please promise me that if he makes you happy you won't force him away? Youd look cute together.' She smiled.
'I'll think about it.'
In truth, I already was thinking about it. But I had so many things to consider. My brother. The death of my uncle. How the fuck Danny had seen the video on Layla's phone if we'd deleted it everywhere.
