(adj) Your love has been the star of each and every one of my sleepless nightmares.
𑁍࿐ྂSans was informed regarding the seizure he had the day before, and waking up to that news was terrible because now he was walking around with a heavy soul, wishing he stayed longer last night.
He had to make arrangements with Dr. Williams. Consultions, medications, bills.
He was so tired, and despite being under a lot of pressure, he still wanted to make sure everything was settled, just so he could spend lesser time worrying about anything else other than himself, so he received a call from the hospital it was like a punch to the ribs, because he felt so irresponsible.
"We've prepared his medications in this zip lock bag. Please do remember to give him at least something to eat for the day," Dr. Williams says and Papyrus nods understandingly, letting out a sigh of relief.
Then he walked towards the front of the hospital, where Sans was patiently waiting outside for him with a polaroid in his hand.
"Hey. . ." Papyrus says and Sans turns around, a sly smile on his face before he greets him back, "heya pap look, it's already snowing." He says and the two slowly looked up before they looked at one another, nodding their head in unison.
Fifteen minutes later, they found themselves perched on the couch in their living room, Sans laying on Papyru's lap while he plays with the strings on his hoodie.
"We should recreate the picture, dear brother." Papyrus says, pointing to the polaroid in San's hand and Sans just grinned, opening his mouth, trying to respond back but then closing it in defeat.
"It's in seven days," Papyrus smiles, looking down at his brother.
"What?"
"Christmas silly! We can decorate the Christmas tree together brother, like we always do. And I Papyrus would bake the cookies and the Christmas spaghetti. And you'll do the frosting. Then, we'll turn on Christmas tunes and watch Christmas films," Papyrus smiles, booming with excitement stars in his eyes, "I really want to spend Christmas with you. . ." Papyrus didn't notice the teardrops coming from the corner of his eye sockets until he felt Sans wiping his tears away, "For the last time." He croaked out, his eye sockets now stinging with tears.
"Okay," Sans grins, "we'll recreate this photo, too."
"You think the place is gonna look prettier this time?" Papyrus asked.
"Everything's prettier when ya part of it paps." Sans says and Papyrus laughed, replied with a. "Of course it is, I am the great Papyrus after all."
"I don't think I'll ever be able to fathom the thought of leaving ya paps."
"I know," Papyrus sniffed, "And I'll be here with you. I'm not going anywhere else."
"I remember practicing how to ask ya to accompany me in the mirror," Sans says, changing the topic in hopes it would lighten the mood, "But as soon as I saw ya training with Undyne, I got boned-out, ya could even say cold-bone, It was embarrassing to say the least.
Papyrus tilts his head back, "Don't you mean cold feet brother?" "Oh stars! I remember that. You were throwing so much ridiculous puns, it made me confused and furious with you, and. Then. . ." Sans paused, because now his skull was empty and nothing seemed to be occupying it right now.
"I asked you to accompany me, instead. And you told me you were supposed to do that. Eh, either way, almost the entire Hotland heard me. They were in awe at the situation. Do you remember what happened next, Sans?"
Sans stared into his eye sockets, feeling super guilty and shitty of himself, because the answer was no. He couldn't even remember what they were talking about.
"We went stargazing." Papyrus smiles.
