"Love!! Good morning!!" Minji said excitedly, pushing Yoohyeon, who was still asleep, awake. Today was her special day, and she couldn't wait to spend it with the love of her life.

"Mmmmm? I'm awake, I'm awake." Yoohyeon mumbled sleepily, head dropping onto Minji's body again as her half-lidded eyes tried to open.

"Heyyyyy...why you so sleepy! you always wake up really early!!" Minji pouted, leaning onto Yoohyeon as the latter held her sleepily.

Yoohyeon smirked a little in her mind. "It's our off day today, love, and it's not a special day today. Just a normal day..." she yawned, and Minji's mood turned from really excited to sad and shocked.

'Did she just say...normal day?' Minji thought, suddenly feeling really down. Had Yoohyeon forgotten her birthday?

The blonde yawned again, then slowly got up from their shared bed. Pecking Minji on the cheek, Yoohyeon left to go into the shower.

Minji just sat there frozen, hoping that Yoohyeon's brain was just a little bit messy because after all, she just woke up, instead of her actually forgetting her birthday.

Deciding to shrug it off, Minji sighed, dragging herself out of bed, the excitement and happiness she had a while ago gone. Shaking her head a little, Minji went out to their living room, checking her phone to make sure that yes, it was her birthday today. She received wishes from everyone she knows, well everyone, except for Yoohyeon.

'Maybe she'll remember when she sees Minji and Yoohyeon's stories.' Minji thought, hoping that it would be true and trying to convince herself that it wasn't that much of a deal if Yoohyeon really had forgotten her birthday. Even though she really, really, really, really wanted to use the day to celebrate with Yoohyeon.

So she sat onto the couch, hoping that Yoohyeon would remember her birthday after her shower.

Minji was met with disappointment, however, when Yoohyeon plopped down on the couch next to her, two bowls of ramen in hand. "W-What?" Minji asked when Yoohyeon gave her a bowl.

"Breakfast!!" Yoohyeon said gleefully, handing her girlfriend one of the bowls, definitely not missing the little sad look Minji gave her when their eyes melt.

"I-I thought you would take me out for breakfast..." Minji mumbled, not aware that Yoohyeon heard her. Before, during all the mornings of Minji's birthday, Yoohyeon would take her out for breakfast.

Yoohyeon almost lost it when she saw Minji's sad puppy eyes. She tried her best to stay put, though, and follow the plan. The blonde knew her girlfriend was hurt because she thought she had forgotten her birthday, but no, duh.

Yoohyeon obviously remembers Minji's special day. She just hopes that her surprise would be able to make up for the hurt Minji must be feeling right then.

Minji won't remind her, though, as she puts the blonde higher than herself and she doesn't want Yoohyeon to feel bad. 'It's okay, Minji, it's okay, it's fine if she forgets your birthday. It's not that big of a deal, it really isn't.' Minji tried her best to convince herself.

"C-Can...can I have cuddle?" After eating, Minji asked in a small voice, unsure. According to Yoohyeon, her girlfriend was looking really cute, and she was really trying hard to not give Minji a birthday wish. She looked absolutely adorable.

The blonde smiled and nodded, and Minji immediately scrambled into her arms, burying her face into Yoohyeon's chest. Chuckling, Yoohyeon held Minji close, arms wrapped tightly around her as she gave light kisses onto Minji's hair. Feeling slightly better, Minji's small hands clasped around each other. Leaning back at Yoohyeon for a kiss, Minji pouted, and Yoohyeon laughed, before pressing her lips onto Minji's.
