General Lane was at the White House talking with the president about the message the entire world has received. The multiple generals and staff of the White House was imploring President Steve Trevor to enlist the help of the Amazons in order to save the Earth. The President just took in a deep breath before he turned around, "The Amazons can't go into space and we don't have any other heroes that are left that can go beyond the atmosphere," he said as he rubbed his face.

"Well then let's get the nut jobs in costumes that fought the yellow alien before Coast City was destroyed," General Lane suggested.

Steve glared at the General before he sat down in his chair. "That's out of line General," he stated in a low tone. "The Justice Society of America has saved the world and our nation multiple times. If it wasn't because of the idiots during the 50s, we would be able to still count on them," he informed. He was trying to figure out how to improve the situation as well as reduce any casualties to minimum numbers. That was when they all heard a knock on the window outside, causing all of them to look and see Supergirl outside of the window of the White House.

Supergirl waved at the people inside before she looked at the President. "Mr. President, may I speak with you?" She asked.

Steve nodded and had one of the Secret Service men open the window causing Supergirl to hover in. "Supergirl," he greeted as she gently set her feet on the floor. He then went up and shook her hand.

"I wish it was under better circumstances," she stated as she nodded at him. The Kryptonian looked at the few generals that had an uneasy look on their faces. "I know who we're dealing with," she said which caught everyones attention. "Brainiac was on my planet and engineered its destruction, this robot is not to be messed with."

"Thanks Sherlock," General Lane stated as he crossed his arms. "So...how do we get up there and blow this robot to kingdom come?"

Supergirl looked at General Lane, "You can't. He has superior technology that can easily take out your military arsenal," she replied before looking at the President. "But I can get up to his ship and stop him."

General Lane had a skeptical look on his face. "Forgive me for being skeptical Supergirl," he started. "However you have not fought in any wars, bring peace to any nation, and yes you do stop crime in Metropolis. You have nothing to show or give us in order to trust you or even have faith."

"That's enough General," Steve stated as he looked at Supergirl. "My wife is the Queen of Amazons, and she haves similar powers to you. Can you really do this and be able to save the world?" He asked.

"Yes sir I can," Supergirl stated before giving General Lane a side eye. "All I need to ask is that everyone works together and have hope."

Steve smiled and nodded, "You have my vote of confidence Supergirl. At this moment, our country needs hope and apparently super heroes once again," he said before he looked at the Generals. "None of you will fire upon Brainiac's ship. We will let Supergirl handle this," he ordered as General Lane lowered his head. "However just in case, keep the nuclear warheads and the weapons on stand by. Just as a last resort."

    General Lane nodded, "Understood sir."

Supergirl looked at the President and gave him a small smile. "Thank you sir," she thanked before she started to lift herself off the ground again. "Wish me luck," she said before she went out of the White House. Then she flew up to the vastness of space.

Brainiac was at a control pannel as his metallic limbs tapped against the holographic controls. On the orb there was a few cities that were being process for collection. From Paris all the way to Metropolis, there were a lot of candidates to collect. The robot continued to go from one city to the next before there was a warning alarm going throughout all the ship. Brainiac looked at the left control pannel as his pressed three buttons before the orb dissapeared.
