All Is Fair in Love and War: Chapter 1

"My hat is missing" Fyodor said, rummaging through where he had left his change of clothes.

"Is this what your looking for?" A smug sounding Dazai appeared around the corner with a smile. Just as Fyodor had hoped he would.

"Hey there Demon Fyodor" Dazai said biting into a ripe red apple.

"You again, the last time I saw you would've been at the Mukurotoride" Fyodor said trying not to smile.

"A double prompt attack using the masked man as bate this time.." Dazai said with a cocky look.

"I wouldn't expect anything less from you Fyodor" Smirking and looking at Fyodor with his inquisitive brown eyes.

"How do I look?" Dazai gestured to Fyodor's hat on his head with a silly smile. Looking at Dazai was like like looking at a teddy bear you wern't aloud to cuddle up with. He looked adorable with Fyodor's hat, it was hard not to smile.

"Terrible" Fyodor looked at Dazai as his smile turned into what could best be described as a little kid's frown.

"Awh fine, have it back then" Dazai said tossing the hat over towards the Russian. Fyodor bent down to pick it up, while his face was unable to be seen he couldn't help but smile to himself.

"This has your name written all over it..." Dazai continued talking, clearly thinking he had check mated the Rat. All Fyodor could think of however, was how bad he was gonna feel after the sniper shot Dazai. Granted he knew he'd survive, but it still sucked having to shoot someone you enjoy that much. "The gun fired and Dazai fell to the ground." Fyodor walked out of the ally over to a parked car. Inside was a smug looking clown with white hair.

"You dork." Nikolai said looking at Fyodor as he got into the car.

"What?" Fyodor looked over at the clown, confused.

"Stop being stupid and just tell the guy, it's pretty obvious you like him, plus if you don't get him someone else will *cough* Like me *cough*" Nikolai smiled his silly little smile and stuck his tongue out towards the shorter russian.

"I WHAT, What are you talking about, I don't like him. He's my opponent." Fyodor said clearly trying not to panic.

" Every time you make a move, him and his armed detective agency come and screw it up" Nikolai said with a sarcastic look.

"Yet you're never upset about it, instead you seem happy, especially when that suicidal brunette shows up."

"QUIZ TIME!!!!! FYODOR, TRUE OR FALSE??? You! Have a thing for!?!? Dazai Osamu!!!" Nikolai said loudly while making a smug face towards Fyodor.

"I have no idea what you're talking about clown." Fyodor looked away back towards the ally that he had left Dazai in. The car drove away, Fyodor called an ambulance for Dazai as they drove away.

Fyodor walked into the hospital in a gray long sleave button up collared shirt, a black sweater vest, a pair of jeans, and some black shoes. Trying no to draw attention to himself he went up to the front desk.

"Hello ma'am, might you direct me to the room of an Osamu Dazai?" Fyodor asked. He had a vase with some poppies. Hopping to leave them for Dazai while he was still asleep.

"Of course, he is in room 247. Is he someone special?" The nurse looked up at him with a smile. Fyodor felt his cheeks become a bit warmer.

"It's just that you're the first person to visit him." The nurse smiled at him again. Fyodor nodded and walked away, confused, Dazai has been here for 3 days how had no one come to see him, especially not the agency. He got into the elevator and went up to the second floor. Walking into the room he saw Dazai completely asleep in his hospital bed. His curly brown hair slightly blowing due to the partially opened window. He put the vase he had been carrying onto the nightstand next to Dazai's bed. Sitting down on the chair next to him he glanced over at the brunette, watching as his chest slowly raised and fell, how his face was ever so slightly blushed a light red, the dark circles under his eyes, how his bandages made his collor bones show up more prominently. Fyodor sat and read a book he had brought with him. He sat there reading for a good 2 hours before getting a call from Ivan.
