the true longinus was absorbed by EVA unit-01 during the red earth ceremony or more commonly known as third impact it's power became the basis for longinus create, unlike shinji the other adopted members of the dantalion line can only create five longinus at a time and they aren't true longinus but the red spears used by NERV previously, shinji can create however many he wants and or needs, the lance holds one real power besides being a lance
