Chapter 5

I had just got off the bus and started to get ready for the date tonight. I was freaking out I didn't want to wear a dress and look to serious! So I put on a nice blue shirt and a beautiful necklace and some blue jeans and started to think about how I would put my hair up. I decided to straighten it and curve it a little at the ends. I put some blush and mascara and then watched tv and my phone at the same time waiting for the text to come in. It was already 6:30 and I was panicking that he wouldn't text me, but then I heard my phone go off. It was him! I ran to my phone as fast as possible and read it. The message read read it. He said he was on his way. So I grabbed my Vera Bradley wristlet and my phone and put my phone in my wristlet and headed outside. My dad told me to have the time of my life and I was going to make sure I did. I saw his dad drive upon a corvette and I hoped in the back with his help. It was awkward in the car no one talked at all. I wonder why? We finally made it to Starbucks! His dad gave him a fifty and we went in. I let him pick out the drink. He so perfect at everything else so I bet he'll get my favorite drink. He came back with two drinks with whipped cream and chocolate and he gave me one and he took the remaining. We then just sat down and talked about how life was and school, but then he handed me a letter. I took it out of his hand and took a peek. It had lots of stuff in it. I read further and I figured that he was asking me out. You know what it said?! "WILL YOU GO OUT WITH ME" in big bold letters I looked up with a smile and said,"Yes!" He smiled and we finished our drinks and headed to where his dad was waiting. We hoped in the car and he handed me a heart shaped ballon and some chocolates. I told him thank you so many times his ears must have fell off. Now I was in the car parked in front of my house. As I got out of the car, his dad and him hoped out as well. He asked if we could take a picture together real quick. So we did and it turned out really nice! I was about to head into my house when something happened. He came in for a hug and I did as well. We hugged! I then said goodbye to him and his dad and made my way to my house. As I walked he yelled," I'll text you tonight". I smiled and went into my house and told my dad everything that happened. I put the flowers in a vase and put the chocolates on my self and went to bed with a smile on my face.
