(Hello, dear reader. I always love a little post-read bonus, so, here we stand. I cover as much as my goblin brain conjures up. So if you're curious about the ending or the characters themselves or any other strange details that I just think are neat, then this chapter awaits you ahead. :D )

Ari Kim

-Ari is Korean and speaks it sort of well, but isn't really more fluent than an 8 year old

-Ari is allergic to cashews

-Ari is 5'4 and is proud of it, goddammit

-His coming out wasn't really a big deal, and happened when he went off to college. His father took more time. However, he doesn't really like to be loud or talkative about it, and tends to not let anyone know unless outwardly asked, and is a bit self conscious about it through college

-In my background development, Ari has written a total of 30 published works in total, from books to articles to poems to poem collections, etc.

-Ari can't actually drink that much as he has a low tolerance and high risk of getting sick from it. He turned to smoking early in college because the nicotine kept him awake. His father smoked.

-Ari's first two books are about the ocean and the exploration of it. Most of his books are centered around the storyline of two to four people and their relationships with each other, and either how those ebb and flow, rise up, or collapse altogether. They tend to be very abstract

-Ari's father and him have an okay relationship, but I sorta lost time to portray it at all

-Ari likes sweet things but they make him sleepy so he avoids them anyway

-Ari actually did poorly in English classes in high school/middle school due to the fact he often changed the prompts or responded in more creative ways that were out of bounds of the curriculum. Teachers were not fond of him

-The sheer amount I learned about the ocean and its zones and animals solely from writing Ari, I think is more I've learned about a subject than any other book before this, to be frank

-No, Ari cannot swim. Oh, irony.

-Ari's favorite color is green, surprisingly.

Maximiliano Molina Romero

-The longest name of any character I've written, (not including one from the novel I'm writing right now)

-I wrote Max originally to be a photographer and photographer only, but then decided to switch his main focus to chemistry because I felt two hardcore artists together would've actually made the story a lot more tragic

-Max hates anything with carrots

-Max used to wear glasses until he was twenty two, when he got LASIK

-Max used to be kind of short in high school before he had a massive growth spurt over his senior year and into freshman year of college. He originally wanted to go to Santa Barbara for college, but actually didn't get in, so he went to UCSD instead

-Max doesn't know a lot of his extended family because his mother's side is still in Mexico and his father doesn't speak to his side

-He was very determined to be proud of his sexuality in college because of the rejection of his brother/father, hence why in one scene where Ari said they were friends instead of a couple, it hurt him so deeply.

-Max's favorite ice cream is pistachio, change his mind.

-I've always liked chemistry, actually, so Max being into it was a lot easier for me to write than Ari's oceanic affinity
