He usually eats lunch behind the school and he saw Isiah
"Isiah! Looking finer than ever.. how's it going?"
I noticed him blush and smirked.
I watched him go over and sit down next to me.
"Horrible.." He sighed and put his head on my shoulder. "Dontrelle is... ugh!!...he gets me so nervous I can't even look him in the eye.."
"Do is that like.. you saying you like him or you can't look him in the eye in a bad way..?"
"I like him a lot..." he sighed and looked at him. "your my best friend.. what would you do?"
Isiah calling me his best friend really hurt me seeing as I've been crushing on him since like forever.
"Uhm.. I would.. tell him how I feel.."
"Th-" he stopped when he saw Dontrelle.
I watched him walk over to us with a glare. "Why are you eating here? Why don't you sit with me?"
"I uhm.." he looked away nervously. "Not sure.. sorry..."
He gently turned Isiah's head back to face him and so he could look at him "you alright?"
This basted..
He started turning red. "Yeah.. yeah!" he smiled nervously.
He sat down in between Isiah and me "are you sure? You look a little red."
he sighed and nodded. "great!"
I rolled by eyes and grabbed my things.
"I'm going to go now. See you later Isiah." I looked at him and walked off.
Timeskip.
Isiah rushed straight up to me.
"oh...! Hey Isiah.." I tried to make his voice sound a little cheery as it usually is a and not dull.
he paued and looked me up and down "Are you okay?.."
"yeah yeah I'm.. I'm fine..! Why do you ask..?"
"Well.. you know about the fair?..."
I paused immediately, my heart feeling like it was about to break.
"yeah..? What about it..? Are you not going to be able to come..?"
"No no! I'm coming! I'm just uh... I'm bringing Dontrelle!"
My world stopped and my eyes widened a little as he looked down at him
"I-I thought it was just me and you..?" I laughed nervously.
"...Did I do something wrong? I mean he asked if I was doing anything.."
"No no..! No it's fine.. he can come..!"
"See you there then!" He smiled and hugged his tightly before running off.
I sighed and watched him leave.
Dontrelle ruins everything.
