Growing Up With Regulus

He apperates to where the Dursleys live and once he sees Albus and Minnie walk away from Harry and are out of sight Regulus runs to the infant and picks him up Harry when he sees Regulus and gives a delighted giggle "REGREG" Harry cries " Yes that's right RegReg is here and Its ok Harry, I promised Sirius I'd protect you and I will keep my word" he whispers stroking the infants hair as he told little Harry all about their family and how brave his father was and how his mother died protecting him. "You look so much like your daddy" he whispers into little Harry's ear "Except for your eyes though you have your mother's eyes" he whispered bouncing baby Harry on his hip who is laughing and clapping his hands.
Minnie clears her throat "Regulus what are you doing?" he spins around to see his former teacher "Minnie please don't leave him with Lilys sister you know she'd treat him terribly" Minnie smiles "I agree Regulus ive watched them all week and I agree they cant raise him you need to hide with him Regulus because they'll be looking for you and baby Harry" Regulus nods "Ill look for a house and ill seal the door with well ill work something out and make it that only me and Harry can leave the house" Minnie whispers "Put the fidlius charm on your house instead trust me you'll stay hidden for years until Little Harry goes to Hogwarts" she smiles at Regulus who looks at Harry who's fallen asleep on him as he thinks of a English town "I know where to go its a place where me Sirius Andi and Cissy would go to escape our families abuse Andi would drive us, Minnie i will send you the address when I can for his Hogwarts letter" Regulus and Harry apperates to their new home "This is Filey Harry no one will find us here" he approaches a lovely cottage and casts the fidileus charm onto it and steps inside holding Harry, inside of the cottage is already decorated beautifully as Regulus places Harry on the carpet "We will be safe here little one just me and you" hours later Regulus gives Harry some tea and heads upstairs "This was little Tonks room when she was a baby but i don't think Andi will be using it any time soon especially since it hasn't been updated in a while as there's nappies and brand new baby food in the fridge which is perfect " Regulus half laughs and puts Harry in the crib "Good night sweet boy" Regulus whispers kissing his head he puts the nightlight on and leaves the room he goes into the room that was once Sirius's room and collapses onto the bed and falls asleep.

A year later, Regulus is woken by a two year old Harry and  little Luna  "Ukle Reggie it chwmas" Harry and Luna  say jumping on Regulus "I know kids but its 3am come in uncle Reggie's bed if you want but please go back to sleep" he says sleepily Harry and Luna snuggle down "Otay ukle reggie" they whispers and within minutes both are out like a light. Regulus goes to the window and looks up to the sky "Hey James Hey Lil im looking after your boy hes ok hes safe with me god James he looks like you but Lily hes got your sweet and sensitive nature oh and i went back and got crookshanks he's here with us we will be lighting a candle for all of you tonight, to honour your memory i tell him all about how brave his mummy and daddy were he loves hearing about how daddy was trouble and Mummy loved him anyway" He smiles to himself "He also has your eye sight James so he wears glasses he looks adorable in them too they're a little big for him and him and Luna are inseparable" He talks for hours until he hears a little voice from under the covers "UKLE REGGIE I AWAKE NOW ITS MORNING TIME" Regulus laughs he tickles Harry saying "Oh what is this big lump under the covers" the little voice of Luna giggles  while Harry shouts "IT ME UKLE REGGIE IT ME" Regulus takes Harrys hand and walks down the stairs "Careful" he says helping Luna down the last step they head into the living room and there is a Pandora with a cup of tea "Hello little ones" she opens her arms to Harry and Luna" little tree with hand made decorations on it and underneath there's a small pile of presents "Now who do you think they are for?" Regulus grins looking at a very excited Harry whos jumping up and down "ME ME ME" Harry tears one open "BOOK" Reg smiles "Its called a magical scrapbook it's full of pictures of you mummy and daddy and we can fill it in as you grow up" he says as he goes into the kitchen to make Harry and Luna some pancakes "Chocolate or blueberries on top?" He shouts to the little boy "BOF PEAS UKLE REGGIE"  "CHOKKY PEAS" Luna shouts Regulus brings out two stacks of pancakes one with blueberries and chocolate chips in it and the other with just chocolate chips in it and puts them in front of the kids"Here you go lad and little miss" Harry grins "Tank oo" Luna nods to say thank you after hours of fun its finally night time Harry is asleep on the sofa and Pandora picks Luna up "I suppose i should get home bye reg" Regulus hugs her and kisses Lunas blonde hair after they've gone Regulus picks him up and carries him up the stairs and he tucks him in his bed "Night Night beautiful boy" he kisses his head and shuts the door too as he heads to bed he quickly falls asleep.
