I sat down in the Jasmine Dragon, letting my gaze wander the room. We had just returned from the war and were enjoying a few days of peace, before Zuko was to return to the Fire Nation to rule. Zuko...he had been the only thing on my mind for the last few days. Ever since I kissed him we've been spending more time together. I didn't tell anyone about us though. Would something between us really work? I wanted to go back home, see my father and Gran-Gran. Unlike everyone else, I had no clear goal in mind. I needed some air. I walked to the balcony and leaned on the railing. Suddenly, I heard footsteps behind me. It was Aang. He came and stood next to me. "Katara, I was thinking about...everything that happened, and... I wanted to ask you..." Aang stopped. "What is it?", I asked curiously. "Will you travel with me Katara?" , he blurted out, taking my hands. Travel? Maybe that was a good idea! I had nothing planned, except going home, but maybe travelling would help me find my place. Restoring villages and whatnot. So I answered: "Of course Aang, I'd love to go." Aang smiled at me and gazed into my eyes. His expression was something I couldn't quite place. Suddenly, he leaned forward and pressed his lips against mine. I kissed back, reluctantly. I didn't want to upset him after he just finished fighting the war. CRACK! Behind me I heard a tea cup shatter. I pulled away from Aang and turned towards the noise, only to find myself gazing into Zuko's golden eyes.

A/N: I know this is really short, but I just drifted to that natural stopping point, you know?
