Amid the bustling backdrop of Japan's airport, Fuyumi's remorseful eyes met those of her brother. "I'm sorry, Shoto. Because of me, your painful memories have resurfaced," she whispered.

Shielding his celebrity status with a mask, Shoto gently gestured for her to follow him to the waiting car. "It's alright, Fuyumi. You didn't do anything wrong. Besides, I have some matters to attend to here anyway."

The siblings slid into the car, which started moving towards their family home. Shoto Todoroki, once a student, was now a renowned reporter. His striking features and unmatched skills, combined with his natural charisma, had made him an idol in many eyes. After migrating to Australia from Japan, he immersed himself in studies and works. The pain of losing Katsuki Bakugou, his lover, was too great, and he sought distraction. Contacts with friends like Midoriya and Uraraka faded, especially after Bakugou's surgery.

But time, as they say, mends wounds. After seven years, Fuyumi decided it was time for Shoto to move on, arranging a date for him. The very thought of being with someone else unnerved Shoto, but seeing his sister's concerned eyes, he found himself conceding.

The old Todoroki residence stood unchanged but covered in layers of dust. As the front door creaked open, clouds of grime made both siblings cough. "This place needs a thorough cleaning," Shoto remarked, ready to call a cleaning service. But Fuyumi, with a hint of nostalgia and mischief in her eyes, said, "My dear brother has become quite the affluent man! But why not clean this together? We can catch up."

While cleaning, Fuyumi carefully broached a sensitive topic. "Do you plan to meet Uraraka and Midoriya?" she inquired.

Shoto hesitated, "I'm not sure. I do want to see them; they are dear friends. But it'll also bring back memories of Bakugou."

Fuyumi's voice softened, "At least pay a visit to Bakugou's grave. It's time."

With a heavy sigh, Shoto replied, "I know, I will think about it."

Exhausted from their journey and the cleaning, they opted to order food and eventually decided to call in professional cleaners. Over dinner, Fuyumi introduced the topic of the impending date, "You're meeting her at 1 PM at Café Lumière. Dress sharp and try to smile. Her name is Naomi, a talented architect from a well-to-do family. She's the middle child, with two brothers. I believe you'll like her."

Shoto nodded as he listened to Fuyumi, understanding her good intentions. He knew that forgetting Bakugou was impossible, but he didn't voice that thought. Instead, he went to his old room, where the flood of memories overwhelmed him. He recalled the time when they all watched a Dragon Ball movie together with Hana, and how Bakugou had grieved deeply after Hana's passing, and how he, Shoto, had tried his best to comfort him. Shoto shook his head to clear these memories and turned his thoughts towards Midoriya and Uraraka.

"I wonder if Midoriya and Uraraka are dating now. They always had a special connection," he mused before drifting off to sleep.

Shoto's morning began with Fuyumi's chit on the oven, informing him about her shopping trip and his scheduled date with Naomi, the architect. With a resigned sigh, he went through his morning rituals, freshening up and choosing his best clothes to make a decent impression. However, a wave of uncertainty washed over him as he realized he didn't know the location of Café Lumière, the place Fuyumi mentioned. Deciding to trust his instincts, he hailed a taxi, hoping to locate the café without any mishaps.

By the time he found Café Lumière, it was already 1:30 PM. Naomi, exactly as Fuyumi described, was patiently waiting. As soon as their eyes met, she greeted him with a friendly wave, melting away some of his anxiety. As he approached, he apologized profusely for his tardiness, but Naomi brushed it off gracefully. They dove into conversations about their careers and hobbies.

Yet, Shoto's thoughts were elsewhere. The gentle curve of Naomi's lips made him think of Bakugou's softer ones. The glint in her eyes paled in comparison to the fiery intensity he remembered in Bakugou's. If only time could be rewound, there were so many things Shoto wished he could change. The regrets and unspoken words weighed heavily on his heart, manifesting as a longing that refused to leave him.

His contemplation was broken when a young girl suddenly darted in front of their table. Her stumble and subsequent fall startled him, and both he and Naomi rushed to assist her. A young man, seemingly the girl's father, approached them with an apologetic expression. "I'm sorry about her," he began, bending down to address the girl, "You know better than to run around like that. Do you want me to tell your mom?" The subtle warning in his voice made the girl nod frantically, promising good behavior.

Shoto's gaze, initially on the girl, slowly moved toward the young man. As he watched, everything seemed to blur around him, and the world became a distant haze. He felt as though time itself had stopped, and his heart ached with longing.

In that moment, Shoto only saw one person standing right in front of him:

Bakugou Katsuki.

A.N: At first, I considered creating a time travel scene where Todoroki travels back in time to rescue Bakugou. However, my friend suggested that focusing on their adult lives might be more compelling. So, I decided to go in that direction.
