Unlike most Cybertronians, Electrons did not begin life from the Well of AllSparks.

Primus and the 13 Primes, after Unicron's defeat used the AllSpark to create guardians that would protect the Well from anyone that would do it harm. Originally they were energy beings, stationed around the Well and would appear should it be threatened and defend it at all costs. However, after the Prime Megatronus became the Fallen and was banished, Primus ultimately decided that the Guardians should be freed from their confines to the Well and gave them frames. When they gained physical frames, their unique energy-like powers remained and they discovered that they could generate electricity. Finding themselves out of place upon Cybertron, the group decided to move elsewhere and find a place where they could live.

After a brief period of time as nomads, the group arrived at a steadily building Crystal City and chose to build a fortress on the outskirts, isolating themselves due to the fact that they were few and ultimately feared extinction at the servos of the other Cybertronians on the planet. Once finished, the group -the first of the Electrons- remained within it's confines for several eons, and since they had natural energon springs within the courtyard they did not leave and became a mystery to the inhabitants of Cybertron.

Once or twice in those eons did one of the Electron's descendants leave their home, deciding to find a life elsewhere, however they were forbidden from returning or sharing much about their culture. These that did leave taught their own students of the basic fighting skills that the Electrons carried. Doing so, these students became masters of what later would be known as the Art of the Cyber Ninja.

During the final period of the Golden Age, future Majestrixia Kilowatt left the confines of the Electron Fortress, deciding to see the planet before she ascended to Clan rulership and to some solar cycle open the gates of the Fortress at long last. Accompanying her was her guard and future mate Asimo, who ventured with her across the planet.

In a seven groon span she travelled to several city and city-states, attending balls and the like and discovering what all her Clan had missed since their isolation. During those times she met with nobles such as Mirage, and later the feared and famed gladiator/revolutionist Megatronus himself and his archivist friend, though she and the revolutionary did not see optic-to-optic on views. After speaking with Orion Pax, she ultimately decided to open the gates of the fortress and end their period of isolation.

Only two solar cycles after she returned home, however, her sire was taken ill and died within a few orns. Kilowatt became the Majestrixia, and bonded to Asimo shortly thereafter. Around that same time was when Orion Pax became Optimus Prime and the War for Cybertron began.

Recieving an offer from both factions, at first Kilowatt chose to remain nuetral until news that the Decepticons had bombed Iacon reached them. Assembling several troops, she yet again left the confines of the Fortress and met with Optimus Prime -formerly Orion Pax- and created an alliance with him.

"If we must fight for something," She declared. "We must fight for our freedom and the protection of innocent sparks, for our home upon Cybertron. This I vow, to see that my Clan and your Autobots fight alongside of one another, for no longer shall we be divided by fear and ignorace. We, the Electrons pledge ourselves to your faction and cause. We pledge ourselves as Autobot brethren under your command, Optimus Prime."
