Mias POV:
Spain.
We didn't speak again until Spain, and not because either of us had planned to either.I woke up in the morning of the race and met Lando for breakfast. He spoke animatedly about how excited he was to race and how much he enjoyed the track.
'Last time you watched a race here, you were 18, Mia.' He teased.
'Yeah, not far off your age now Lando.' I responded, watching as his face dropped.
'Don't upset me before my race, I might not perform correctly.' He said, straightening up in his chair, rolling his eyes when Daniel came up behind him, slapping him on the shoulder and pushing him back down.
'Morning Danny.' I smiled, reaching to give my brothers hand a squeeze.
'Morning sunshine, you ready for a damn good race?' He asked, cheerily.
'You're both super excited for today. Am I missing something?' I asked slowly.
'Haven't you seen?' Daniel frowned.
'The YouTube video that you did with Lewis a few weeks ago hit 20 million views. People want you in-front of the camera more than they want you behind it!' Lando exclaimed.
'I wanted to tell her.' Daniel grumbled.
'Wow. Last I checked it was on 5. Why is it doing so well?' I asked.
I knew that the team would love it. They had no reason to doubt me now.
'Because you're in it, duh.'
'Where's Lewis? I need to tell him.' I said, excitedly.
Lando pointed to the table behind me, and I turned to see Lewis and Charles eating breakfast with Carlos and Pierre. I considered not going over there, but decided against it really quickly. I was a grown woman, and just because me and Charles weren't talking did not mean we weren't friends.
I walked towards Lewis and Charles locked eyes with me immediately, making Lewis aware that I was there. He turned to face me and smiled, his arms wide as he stood up, pulling me into a hug and swinging us side to side.
'Hey, how does it feel to be YouTube famous?' He teased.
'I am not.' I said, nudging him.
He pulled out a chair besides him and patted for me to sit besides him, addressing the boys.
'Did you guys watch the video?' Lewis asked.
'What video?' Charles questioned, no emotion in his eyes or in his voice as he spoke.
My heart sunk a little when I heard that he'd not watched it. But I didn't expect him to. We'd not spoken since I let him down again, in Miami.
'It was so good. Have you seen that they want you to make it a series. I bagsy next drive with you, Mia.' Pierre laughed.
'I'm not getting in a car with you.' I said, pointing my finger at him.
'Don't.' He warned.
'When we were younger, he'd barely gotten his licence, and nearly crashed into a tree trying to change the song when one direction started playing.' I said, ignoring his glaring eyes.
'Nearly crashed into a tree?' Carlos asked.
'Yeah. We ended up in a ditch.' Pierre mumbled, trying to get the conversation over and done with as fast as possible.
Lewis and Carlos laughed, but Charles continued to silently stare at me, whilst eating his food.
'That would make for a great news headline.' Carlos teased.
