I opened my eyes slowly adjusting to the bright vivid colors surrounding me. I helped myself up off of the ground. I could hear all kinds of loud meowing around me. I turned around looking left and right to be greeted by cats in all kinds of different sizes length and color , one thing they all did have in common was that they were all meowing loudly at me. I bounced back a little as the cats came closer to me. I was getting a little worried.

"Are you lost?" I looked at the place the voice came from. It was a fat cat holding out his paw to me, his eyes were closed and his mouth was from ear to ear in .

"W-who are you!" I yelled at him. He opened his cat eyes while wearing a evil grin. "I'll help"　🐈‍⬛ ₊ ✦ °. •

I snapped out of my thoughts as I heard one of my "friends" call out my name. "Hey you ok? You where dreaming away again."

"Yea sorry" I apologized to my friend
"Anyways the fireworks are going to start"
"I think I'll skip" he looked surprised at my reaction.

"I mean sure I'll go with kaeya then" he stuck out his tongue to me while running away to where kaeya was standing.

*sigh* festivals are such a pain. Stupid Kazuha couldn't come cause he had some dumb appointment and mom well she isn't here anymore.

(I wanted to write that "friend" in heizou his backstory disappeared but then i thought it wasn't gonna go well with the storyline so it's his mom now)

I hope some accident happens and I can help the police with unraveling it, just like a real detective to fight my boredom. I strolled around a little, I could just watch the fireworks on my own from a little distance. He is just a fake friend anyway, why would I go with them!? I let out a deep sigh again, why does everything need to be this hard! my moms sudden disappearance is making me feel sick everytime I think of it, and it's really bugging me. When I'm not with kazuha, someone who always cheers me up with his nice poems and haikus his sweet words , it's even worse. comfort, it's even worse.

I just want to know where she went why she disappeared and why the police won't search for her. I ran into the forest as I felt the tears creep up in my eyes when thinking about my mom. we went through so much she was my MOM there's no way I could accept her disappearance. My dark red hair was flowing in the wind as I ran away from the festival. "I hate this world!" I said in between my soft muffled sobs. I slowed down my pace as I saw the lights of the lanterns light up. I was on the path again.

While walking down the path I looked around to see a fat man with a pipe smoking, next to him was a stand with a row of masks, the fat guy looked familiar for some reason. There where all kinds of cat masks, perfect for the festival, hanging neatly in a row. while I was staring at them in awe I noticed one that reminded me of myself it was a little dark reddish. The fat man suddenly spoke up
"Welcome. Wanna try one?"

It was a normal day, I was catching up to kazuha who was already walking by the gate. "Good mornin!~" he looked at me and gave me a small smile "ohayo heizou"

I looked around trying to spot the love of my life. THERE SHE IS! "Hey Kazuha hold this for a moment." I dumped my bag on top of him.

Everyone around me turned into Henohenomoheji's including kazuha, all my attention was on y/n only, no one else mattered! "n/n-Channn! Sur-prise...attack!" I jumped on top of her hugging her from behind. she lost her balance making us both fall to the ground.

"AH!" She yelped out. I had a soft landing on y/n's soft body. She smelled so nice too...could she be even more perfect? "Ouchie..." she whimpered.

I climbed off of her closing my eyes In embarrassment while sitting on the ground.
