A few days after the guard was placed outside of the room, Sora has been forced more and more to exhaust his quirk by Chisaki and took multiple beatings. One day, while Sora was tending to his injuries, he notices Eri planning to escape but the only problem was how to slip outside without the guard noticing. An idea chimed in Sora, he hypnotized the guard using his mind manipulation. Eri saw this and bolted out of the room.

Sora's POV:
I knew that I was gonna have to pay for this but it was her only chance to escape this hellhole and live a normal life. About a minute later, I lost hold of the hypnotism on the guard and pretended to be asleep. I heard the door creak open and the guard came in, I could somehow sense his exact movements and he looked around the room confused. Then, he snapped his head right at me.

"I know that you're awake," He said as he got closer, "you damn BRAT!!"

The guard took off the blanket and  grabbed me by the neck of my shirt.

"You thought that I wouldn't notice, huh?"

I was so scared that I couldn't even answer him.

"If you pull off another sh*t like that again, I swear, you won't be able to heal-"

"Another what?"

The guard froze as Chisaki's voice came. The guard turned around while loosing his grip on me. Chisaki looked more intimidating than usual.

"Well?" He asked.

"He used his q-quirk on me while he l-let the g-girl escape." The guard stuttered and let me go, "She went that way." He pinted to his left.

At first, I thought Chisaki was going to kill me but instead he just sighed and said, "Do what you have to do." He turned around and walked off. The guard turned back at me with a wicked smirk before grabbing me by the arm and threw me to the wall. I winced in pain, rubbing my back, a shadow fell over me, I looked up to see the guard standing over him, cracking his knuckles. He took me by the arm and dragged me to a room next to mine which they called the training room. He threw again at the middle of the room.

I tried getting up but he placed his foot on my back hard and I fell down again. I felt a kick against my stomach and I was rolled away for all I was worth. The guard got closer, casting a shadow over me as I coughed. He grabbed the neck ofy shirt and lifted me up saying, "This is what happens when you disobey us." And braced for the sting of his punches.

No one's POV:
An hour later, Sora woke up with his body aching in pain. He coughed softly and blood fell out of him. Sora wiped it off with the back of his before trying to stand up but failed. It took him a while to stand properly before limply and slowly walking towards his room. He clutched his stomach before having another coughing fit and went inside the room. He flopped on the bed letting out angry tears.

'Eri.' Sora thought, 'Please be safe, please make it outside, and please...live in the life we always wanted. Please... smile... live... for me...' Being lost in his thoughts, Sora fell asleep.

In his dreams:
Laughter. The room was filled with it. A woman with messy, long, black hair and midnight blue eyes was smiling while an older boy with blue eyes and straight dark purple hair was telling his mom how his day at school was. The heard the door open and a man with purple hair and yellow eyes came in smilling at his family. The man went close to a boy who was identical to his father but with messy black hair and multi-colored eyes and ruffled his hair. The man walked to his wife and gave her a kiss on the forehead before sitting down next to her.

An explosion took place and fire engulfed the place. A blood piercing scream was the last thing that was heard and everything went black. Everything was all black, there was nothing but that. A light appeared in front of him and a hand wearing a white glove reached out to his face.

Sora woke up with a start. He got up and pain struck him at the stomach. He looked around and he was still in his room. Sora sighed and decided to go back to sleep. He felt his tears running down his cheeks before laying back down. He wiped it off thinking,  'Why? Why is it every night I dream about my family? And why does my heart break...' lay his head back on his pillow, 'everytime I see their faces?' Sora curled up into a ball and cried more about the thought and the more he thought about it, the more he wishes to live that life again. A life filled with smiles and laughter, a life with a real family.

'Sora, one day, your hero will definitely come to save you.' a voice in his head said. A voice that once belonged to...
