It was a normal day as usual in the town of Rockfill, Where Zephyr and her brother Hudson were just chilling in their house. Now Zephyr hasn't really done anything recently, besides playing with her dog, playing video games ; Whether it be My Singing Monsters, Stardew Valley, or just any game that's not weird in *that* way, and reading books. "Hey, Zephyr, want to go out to Juniper and Orion's house today? I mean, their moms making tacos tonight I heard, so I'm going to go, just wanted to know if you wanted to come along with!!" Hudson questions Zephyr as they are both walking around their house. It was quite luxurious honestly. It was Zephyrs house, and due to family problems, Hudson was forced to either move in with Zephyr or live on the streets, so of course he wanted to live with his sister!
"OH MY GOD OF COURSE I WANT TO GO WHY WOULDN'T I????" Zephyr exclaims back at him as she jumps up and down in glee. "Ah, well, they're doing their 'quote unquote' alone studying time, so we can't go at the moment, but we can go as soon as they're done!!" Hudson chuckles at the thought of getting to see Orion after what happened the night before. "Damn, do you just wanna play games in the mean time? I mean, I got two controllers, so we can play Stardew!!" Zephyr claims as she runs to grab the controllers. "Ooooh sure! New save or continued???" Hudson's face brightens up as he asks the question. "Well, our continued save of course, why not??? Now let's work on getting the quarry, if you wanna???" Zephyr starts getting into the game while Hudson follows.
As time passed, Zephyr got a text from Juniper, and it went like this:
Juniper: Hey, Can you come over? I hear sirens, and Plus, Orions talking about Hudson again
Zephyr: OMG YEAH OFC LEMME GET HUDSON AND GET OUTTA HERE!!
As soon as Zephyr and Hudson got into the car and started driving, they knew something was wrong. It felt like an uneasy walkway walking up to Juniper and Orion's doorstep. "Oh...hey! Come on in!!" Juniper said as they opened the door to let the two into the house. "Hey. Where's Orion???" Hudson asked. He knew that he had to talk to him about what happened. As Orion walks up from his room, he's met with the face of Hudson, gleaming over at him in worry. "Oh, hey, didn't know y'all were coming over, or I would've gotten Coraline started." Orion claims as he walks in. Coraline was their favorite movie all together, it's how they all became friends in the first place.
"Hey kiddos I'm going to go see your father for vacation, I'll be back alrighty??" Juniper and Orion's mom said as she was walking out of the door. "Alright, see you later!!" The group said on unison huddled around the TV, but Zephyr adding onto the conversation, telling the mother to stay safe on her journey. "So! How've you been, Orion??" Hudson says nervously while trying to strike up conversation with him. "Oh. Well, nothing much, what about you?" Orion says back without breaking contact from the TV. Hudson couldn't help but still feel a bit of guilt from what happened that night, but decided to ignore it, as Orion probably already has.
