We introduced the boys to so much this week. I'm gonna need to get a camera with all these pictures I'm taking, but no regrets except not having enough storage space on my phone. The little ones absolutely love the backyard, coming out whenever Granny went to work on her garden. She only retired about a month or two ago and she's already onto her next project; canning.

Only thing that seems off about the whole thing was how worried Erratum gets. Which isn't a bad thing, but he gets nervous if the boys get a certain distance away from him, quickly catching up much to his sons' joy. It's good for whenever they're in their pool, but it's always when they get around 10 or more feet away. Wait a minute.

"Hey, Erratum? Can I ask you something?"

"Didn't you just do so?" Well, he's definitely getting used to all aspects to being a dad.

"Aside from that one." He had a slight chuckle as he nodded, seemingly proud of himself. Gave him a good natured eye roll as I continued. "I couldn't help but notice how you react whenever Null and Void get a certain distance from you, whether we're inside or not. So I was wondering, do you need glasses?" He seemed quite surprised at that question, almost as if he expected something else. Then he started looking slightly embarrassed.

"Y3ah, 1 do. 1 had 4 pair for a while, bu7 they… br0k3." That explains the occasional squint, and I can see why he was nervous. Also, understandable why he hasn't gotten a new pair yet; no time and they can be fairly expensive.

"Ok, if you'd like, we can get you and the boys an appointment with an optometrist to get you a new pair and make sure those two are fine. Probably a regular doctor to make sure you and the boys are healing alright." He looked very confused; not his usual "why do I need to do that" kind of confused, more of a "huh?" kind. "You know, an eye doctor. The guy you go to to get the right lenses and such."

"Huh, so that's how it works." I guess my usual confusion is the "what do you mean by that" mixed with "what kind of life did you live" sprinkled with "you hurt you" kind.

"Wait, didn't you say you used to have glasses?" A nod. "Yet you… didn't go to an eye doctor for it?" Another nod. "Where on earth did you get them then?" He looked thoughtful for a solid minute.

"I… f0und them 50m3wh3r3." Geez, was anything about his life considered normal?

"Ok, yeah no, we're getting that appointment right away. Using the wrong prescription in your lenses can make your eyesight way worse. You know what? I'm gonna go set it right now." I walked away, pulling out my phone before realizing one thing. Wait, which doctor is capable of examining a skeleton's eyelights?

Clicking the wrong app in order to figure out the answer, I ended up in contacts rather than the search engine. Taking a look through at all the people I know, mostly coworkers and family, I came across someone who reminded me of something. That something being that his son has glasses too. Just gotta hope that he's not too busy as I called him.

Surprisingly enough, he answered.

"(Y/N)? Why are you contacting me? It's not August yet, is it?"

"Not yet, Geno, this isn't about work. I was wondering if you could recommend a good optometrist and a family doctor that specialize in skeletons."

"Number one? Or is number two better?"

"... Can I see number one again?" I'm surprised by how fast they were able to get us in for this appointment. Usually it takes close to a month, but they were able to take them within a week. Apparently someone canceled and there wasn't any waiting list or anything. Lucky us.
