Nate Archibald love story

Chapter 1

It was the first day back from summer break. My alarm was set for 7:00am as soon as it went off I pressed the off button but I meant to press snooze... So of course I slept in...great! My first class was at 9:00am and I woke up at 8:45. As soon as I realised the time I silently swore to myself and jumped up out of bed. I quickly got changed into a crop top and some black ripped jeans with some vans I quickly straightened my hair grabbed my phone, purse and keys and ran out the door. On my way I grabbed a coffee and then continued my journey to class. I was running that fast to make it to class that I wasn't watching where I was going and before I knew it I had dropped everything on the floor and bumped into something... Or more like someone. I suddenly looked up only to be gazing into these beautiful blue eyes and he quickly looked at me.
"I'm so sorry, here let me help." He quickly said as he started picking up my books

"thanks" I said as he put out his hand and said "sorry about that, I'm Nate, Nate Archibald" As I put my hand out to shake his I said "it's okay, I'm Amy Gibson, nice to meet you."
"Sorry about the coffee, let me buy you another?" He asked
"I'm actually late to class right now"
"oh okay well how about we meet up later after your class?"
"Yeh okay, I'm free afterwards anyway." So we arranged to meet at the coffee shop just over the road after my class.
I then suddenly realised I had to go so I looked at the time and it said 9:05.. I said bye to Nate and ran off to class.
After class
Finally the lesson was over, however my teacher called me over and gave me this big lecture on why I shouldn't be late to class and what would happen if I constantly kept on being late. I can't say I was paying much attention though, I was to busy thinking about meeting up with Nate. My teacher finally let me go and I walked over to the coffee shop where we arranged to meet. I walked in and looked around however I couldn't see Nate so just ordered a coffee and as I was about to pay when I heard a voice next to me say "I'll get this, I promised you another one" he said
"Nate hi" I replied
"hi good to see you again, how was your class" he asked
"boring as ever" I said and we both chuckled.
We walked over to a table and sat down and just got to know each other. We were just sat talking when my phone suddenly buzzed.
Serena- hey A, how are you? Haven't heard from you in a while. Ring me for a catch up soon:) S.
"Is it important?" Nate asked
"not really just my friend Serena wanting a catch up." I explained
"oh I know Serena" he said "I've never heard her talk about you much before"
"well we did use to date, but we're good friends now."
"Oh right" I said."
"well I better be going, thanks for the coffee Nate." I said
"My pleasure, can I at least get your number?"
"Sure why not" so I wrote my number down and gave it to Nate and then I left and went back to my apartment and just chilled for the rest of the day.
