"Did he not show up again?" Jooheon asked the boy who was walking back to the room on visitation day.
"No, no sign of him" Taehyung sighed flopping onto the bed.
"Don't give up kid, you're out of here in a week, then you'll see him everyday"
"Hmm, I-I just don't know where he could be. He promised. I haven't seen or spoken to him for 3 weeks now. I haven't heard anything since the court case"

"You have to remember-"
"Kim there's someone here to see you"
Taehyung's eyes widened and ran through the corridor to the visitation room.
His eyes scanned eagerly around the room, till he noticed a familiar face. But not the face he was dying to see.

"Chae? What are you doing here?" Taehyung frowned at the girl who was sat on a bench in the corner of the room.
"Boss, it's so good to see you looking so healthy" Chae smiled softly, she had never seen Taehyung look so bright, and healthy before.

"Chae, where's Kook? I-I haven't seen him in weeks, I haven't heard from him in weeks. Please tell me where he is"
"J-Jungkook hasn't left the penthouse since the court hearing"
"But that was 3 weeks ago?"
"Yeah the trial ended up being longer than expected and they ended up bringing a lot of detail about the abuse towards Jungkook.  It all got leaked to the press and so wherever Jungkook was people would ask questions. And well I think it brought up some bad repressed feelings and no one has been able to shift him"

"Please tell me people are checking in on him. Is this why he hasn't called or visited me?"
"Trust me boss he's wanting to see you more than anything. You're the only reason we are able to feed him. He hasn't changed out of any of your clothes, I don't even know the last time he had a shower. Truthfully I think everything has gotten so much for him with work, you being away, court"

"And the reason he didn't say anything to you was because he knew you were getting better and you are better. You're leaving in a week! That's a huge achievement and I think he didn't want you to worry. But that didn't work very well"
"Well that obviously didn't work. Fuck, I knew I should have been there when the court hearing was going on. I don't care than I'm better, I want to see him more than anything"

"It's okay boss, everything will be fine"
"How can everything be fine if he's all alone in pain and I'm here counting down the days to get out although I'm clean"
"Maybe they'll release you early due to the circumstances?"
"I-I mean maybe, I-I don't know"
"What do you mean you don't know?"

Taehyung wanted to get out more than anything, but once he's out, he's out. He'll be exposed to everything. Working at the bar which is flat out filled with alcohol. While he had been in rehab he has been able to think a lot about his life and what he wants to do with it.
With his therapist's help he's established that maybe closing the bar was an option, and instead of selling it he could turn it into something else. It was too stressful and the hours he was doing was not healthy.

He knew that leaving would be one of the hardest things about the whole course. He was told this when he started. But no matter how scared he was Jungkook made the promise that he wouldn't be alone and that Jungkook would stay by his side the whole time. He felt relieved about that. He was given all the coping strategies which will help him once he's back into society, but it was still terrifying.

"No no I need to go back to him, I'll ask. Thanks for telling me Chae, for now please make sure he's still being able to eat. I'll do anything I can to leave this place early and I'll ring you in case I need collecting"
"Of course Taehyung, I'm glad to see that you're better now, it's a good look on you"
"Stop flirting Chae" Taehyung jokingly rolled his eyes before they hugged goodbye and went their separate ways.

"Ah Taehyung, come to my office I have great news for you!"
Taehyung nodded and went to his counsellors office.
"What's the news?" Taehyung asked as he sat down on the chair he has relaxed into every day for the past weeks.
"You're being let out a week early, your progress and transformation has being amazing, and we have all decided that you're ready to leave here"
