I just needed to do this, the tears, the laughs and screams I made watching this serie it was a need to do a fanfic based off mdzs hope you like it I will try to upload at least a chapter by week but you'll probably see atleast 2 or 3 by week but to be sure 👍. Give me your opinion in comments. ❤️‍🔥
The rumors where spreading at an enormous speed around the world, the Yilling patriarch, Yilling laozu also known as Wei Wuxian the grandmaster of demonic cultivation had died. Everyone was celebrating the death of the person who almost destroy the world all by himself, well.... Almost everyone. The second lan de gusu sect leader Lan Zhan (courtesy name : Lan wangji) was alone like always but for the first time since he was four he was crying. He knew Wei Wuxian from a long time now, and knew him more than his own brother. To be honest, he had some kind of extremely strong affection for this man or maybe more??
What he hated the most, something that could make the calmest and coldest person in world literally blow was badmouthing and/or harming physically or mentally his first and only friend. Rumors were telling that Wei Wuxian died killed by Wangji, which wasn't true. Wei tried giving up on life before Lan Zhan catches his hand to save him, but Wei Ying's (real name) brother Jiang Cheng hated his brother for using demonic cultivation and "killing" his sister so he places his sword on the edge of the cliff making Wei Wuxian know that if he didn't let go of Wangji's hand he would break the rock and make Lan Zhan fall with him so within a second, his instinct told him to let go immediately. That's what he did. The last thing he could see or hear was his brother with a angry face and Hanguang Jun screaming his name in fear. Wei Wuxian died with his eyes closed and a smile on his face knowing he was going to die soon anyways.

Lan Wangji still thinks that if he was more reactive, less hurts, stronger and braver maybe he could have saved him.
Lan Zhan blames himself for his friends death...
