"I wish you could stay longer, Guys!" I told them. Pierre asked my mom something when they were in the kitchen, he came out with a smile.

"We can, she said we could stay the night." he sat next to me. David pulled me in his lap and wrapped his arms around me, I layed my head on his chest.

"Dude, chill, we aren't going to hurt her or kiss her." Chuck said. David hugged me tighter. My mom came in and asked,

"Do I want to know?"

Seb said,"They were confessing their undieing love for each other while we were out." he made a gagging noise.

"Well I'm happy you aren't dating a boy who I don't know, or in this case a 29 year old." she smiled. David kissed my head.

"And I know not to do anything to your daughter." I slapped his arm.

"What I knew she would say it." we all laughed.

"I starting to get a little tired. Can I go to bed." my mom nodded, I pulled David in my room.

"What's up?" I handed him his bass he played earlier.

"Pierre said I needed a little polishing, so, please?" he kissed me.

"Ok, but then we go to bed, cause I am tired." he taught me to play Astronaut, Loser Of The Year, Anywhere Else But Here, The Rest Of Us, and Try.

"I think I'm ready to go to bed." David laid down. I changed into a t-shirt and sweat pants. When I was a foot from the bed David grabbed my waist and pulled me towards him.

"David!" I screamed. He covered us up and held me.

"I love you." he said. I placed my head in the crook of his neck.

"I love you too, babe." I was about to kiss his cheek, when he moved his head so I ended up kissing his lips. I love him, but sometimes he can get annoying. About an hour later David fell asleep, I just layed there in his arms. I can't sleep because I have insomnia.

I stared at David's sleeping figure when he started to open his eyes. I acted like I was sleeping. He leaned down and kissed my cheek, lips, and he kissed the longest on my neck.

"I know you're awake, Sky. Do remember, I raised you, so I know about your insomnia." he mumbled in my neck. I opened my eyes, he was still kissing my neck.

"David, can you play Perfect for me, please?" he grabbed his bass and started singing.

Hey, Dad, look at me, think back and talk to me.
Did I grow up according to plan?
And do you think I'm wasting my time, doing things I wanna do.
But it hurts when you disapprove all along.
And now I try hard to make it.
I just want to make you proud.
I'm never gonna be good enough for you.
I can't pretend that I'm alright, and you can't change me.
Cause we lost it all, nothing lasts forever,
I'm sorry I can't be perfect.
Now it's just too late, and we can't go back.
I'm sorry I can't be perfect.

David's point of view

Soon after I finished the chorus she was asleep. Sky always loved that song, when she was 4, she said it reminded her of why her dad left. I put my bass back and kissed her forehead. She feels like a sister, but I love her more than that.
