"shit!-" i groan getting out of bed and heading to the bathroom to get ready for school. "another shitty week day to get through at that boring as jail house people call school. " I think to myself with a sigh as I start to brush my teeth.

finishing up in the bathroom I hurry back to my room and throw on a comfortable outfit and head down stairs where I greet my mom and sister. "Good morning I tell them rushing out of the door so I don't miss the bus.

getting on the bus I'm greeted by my best friend Lana who's waiting for me already at the front of the bus. "Marie! It took you forever!!" she says smiling at me. "what, the bus literally just got here two seconds ago?-" I say looking at her confused. "well still took forever." She says with an eye roll. I scoff and sit down.

we arrive at school and I start walking towards my locker to grab my first period books. Math. "I hate math we should just skip. " I say to lana who's scrolling through her phone not paying attention to me what so ever.
I decide to just go to class I needed the grade, walking into class I greet my teacher and take my seat.

"good morning everyone, you can continue the assignment we started yesterday for the one's who hadn't finished it." I flip to the page in my book and start working.

about ten minutes pass and there's a knock at the door, my teacher goes to open it and that's when I saw the most precious girl ever... She had the cutest glasses, her pretty brown, almond shaped eyes and her hair styled in a ponytail. Staring at her as she walks to a seat beside me, giving me a slight smile and looking back up to the teacher who starts speaking over the assignment.

After class I head to meet Lana at our hangout spot behind the school, when I get there I see Lana sitting alone smoke flying from her nose. She's vaping again.
I go over and sit beside her. "Wanna skip next period?" I ask watching her take another puff of her elfbar. "Yeah let's leave right now." She says getting up and picking her phone off of the floor. Getting up I grab her hand and sneak to the front of the school. "Hurry run!" I say running off campus laughing, Lana runs behind me.

We make it to a small store not to far from campus and get a few snacks and start to head back. Until Lana decides to stop and film a tiktok video. Shit. It's 11:30. "Lana c'mon we'll be late to next period!" I shout at her she just continues. I sigh and grab her phone and start running back to campus. She starts laughing and chasing after me.

Arriving back to campus we head to class, I have Spanish for next period. I'm pretty good at Spanish so I don't mind going to that class. Walking into class I see her again. Almond eyes. I walk over and take the empty seat next to her. "hi" I say looking at her and smiling. "hey" she says back writing something on her paper. "I like your hair" I say nervously. But getting a beautiful smile from her in response. "Thank you, I like yours too." I thank her and start to do my work as the teacher starts to shush us. We laugh quietly at the Spanish teachers thick accent. "I'm marie, you are?" I ask. "I'm jess." She says with the cutest smile showing her stunning teeth. "hey do you wanna hang with me and my best friend after school?" I ask her while putting my pencil down as ive finished. "Yeah sure? where though?" she asked. "My house, we're gonna have a sleep over, and I think it's time for us to make a new friend? Are you in?" I say smiling hoping she'd be okay with that. "Sure I'll invite my friend Nadia is that fine?" She asks me and I nod. "Alright here's my number" she takes a pen and a piece of paper and writes it down handing it to me. "Text me your address." She says while smirking. I swear I almost melted.
