'Seth I need to speak to you. Meet me at the beginning of the forest in five.' I hear Eliana's voice in my head. She rarely ever uses her telepathy, so this must be urgent.
I get up from my bed and begin to leave the room when I see Mike shivering from the corner of my eye. As I near him, I hear his small whimpers, meaning that he must be having nightmares about his life before us again. I move to comfort him, but then he whispers something that makes me question whether he's having a nightmare or not.
"Seth, please."
That's the only thing I think about for the whole walk to the forest. Even as I meet up with Eliana and we begin to walk into the forest, I still think about it. It's only when she begins to speak that I break out of my thoughts.
"So first, why are you think about Mike so much? I thought you were over that." She asks, her eyebrows furrowed in confusion. The way she says it sounds as if she's annoyed, but if you knew her long enough, then you would know that she's actually concerned.
You see, back when we all became a "family" everyone had some type of background that made Father bring us back here to live as royalty. Mike's was that his parents used to beat him, and he was so fragile and scared that everyone bullied him and teased him for never speaking much.
Long story short, I had a crush on him so I began to help him speak more and become more outgoing. Then one day, out of impulse I kissed him. It didn't seem like a bad thing since he kissed back, but then he ran away right after and became more distant. Not distant as in if I came in a room he left, but distant as in he ran away and didn't come back for almost a year. Dramatic, I know right?
But I guess it was a good thing since I got over him and he came back with his element of metal fully mastered. Also it made the tension between us die down. Somewhat.
I was beginning to answer Eliana when she just waved it off meaning that she read my mind for answers.
"You know, it's not nice to read people's minds for answers, Eli." I tell her while pushing her shoulder, making her almost run into a tree. She gapes at me as I begin to run from her approaching figure.
'You're so getting it when I catch you Seth.'

Hey guys, so there's the third chapter. It's kinda more of a filler on some past stuff that's big in future chaps. Also it's to show Eliana as more kind and caring instead of serious and stuff.
