after getting ready eric goes downstairs soon a sharp pain shoots thru his face he looks up and realizes his dad hit him again
dad: you pathic good for nothing brat
eric: what now old man

the dad starts beating and kicking eric breaking his ribs

eric: ya I was stupid
eric quickly gets up and leaves

lily sees eric and blushes
lily: god hes cute I wish I could tell him how I felt
eric limps over to lily hey beautiful
lily: omg eric what happened
eric: ill be ok its nothing new can I ride with you today
lily: sure come on
both get in the car and lily drives to school
lily: so what happened
eric: awww honey are you worried
lily: of course I am eric
eric sighs
eric: my dad has been beating me all summer

lily parks in the student parking lot both get out and eric is confronted by 2 bullies
eric: oh great dumb and dummer
bully2: hey looser
eric: hey quick question whos the girlfriend in your relationship him or you
lily chuckles
bully1:you im gonna kick your ass
eric: ya cause neither one of you will ever grow up
both bullies start punching and kicking eric eric fights back but falls from his broken ribs
James: HEY GET OFF HIM
James beats the bullies up and lily rushes to eric
