Togata's POV:
I finally caught up with Chisaki and Eri. A man who I recognized as Chrono, was carrying Eri and there was a rope in his hand that was tied to a black-haired boy who looked no more than 12 or 13. Sir told us back at the meeting that he saw a boy with Eri in his vision and his features were the same. He was wearing a dirty dark blue shirt and ragged pants, he has bandages wrapped around his arms too.

I lunged forward for an attack but I suddenly lost balance and fell on my knees leaning against the wall. 'What's going on?' I thought. I heard a sluggish cackle, I looked to see someone drinking booze. It's definitely his quirk. Two shots fired and if it weren't for my quirk, I would've been hit. Another two shots, I held my breath as I sank into the wall. I countered them with my special move, "Phantom Menace". I turned to Chisaki, sank into the floor and popped out of it cutting the rope tied to the boy and gently pushed him away.

I sank into the wall behind me before they could react, popped out of the floor, attempted to land a hit on Chisaki but dodged. I activated my quirk on my leg to avoid hitting Eri and turned it off to hit Chrono. I caught Eri in my arms and landed right next to the boy that I just pushed.
"I won't make you sad again." I said, glaring at Chisaki.

Sora's POV:
The hero in front of me landed with Eri in his arms.

"Are you ok?" He asked. I was able to read his mind and found out that his name was Togata Mirio, "What's your name?"

"Sora and I'm fine." I replied.

"Come back here, both of you." Chisaki suddenly said, "Or do you want him to die? Do I have to keep repeating myself? The both of you were to destroy people."

"No... Don't..." Eri started to speak.

"He's right. Don't or..." I continued for Eri. I was trembling, the old thoughts were coming back.

"Don't listen to a word he says." Togata-san said. Chisaki kept on yapping.

"You two never listen. Because of your selfishness, I always get my hands dirty."

'Weak'

'Useless'

'You kill people by existing'

'You're nothing but an abomination!"

"Every single action you take leads to someone's death. The both of yours existence is a curse."

He was right. He's always right. Everyday he would keep reminding us that we just kill people who were involved with us. It just brought back the old thoughts I had before Eri came. Eri saved me from killing myself all those years ago, but now...

"HOW COULD YOU SAY THAT TO YOUR OWN CHILDREN?!!" Togata-san suddenly shouted.

"So that's what's on your mind. I don't have any children."

All hell broke loose. Chisaki and Togata-san were fighting but he kept evading Chisaki's attacks while protecting us. The fight led to the point where Chrono shot the bullet that they just made right at me. I braced for impact until protective arms touched my head and a shadow loomed over me. I looked up and Togata-san was smiling at us taking the blow. 'His quirk...!' I thought. I overheard that they were making a bullet out of Eri's quirk that can permanently erase someone's quirk.

But he doesn't stop. He kept on fighting despite not knowing the consequences of the bullet. I created a barrier around me and Eri. I didn't want to see anymore of that. It reminds me too much of that day, the red fire, their screams...

No one's POV:
Sora looked up and the sight in front of him made him scream. Togata was already stabbed and badly wounded. Sora couldn't stand it. He let go of Eri and helped the hero right in front of him. Once Togata was out, Sora began healing him.

"Sora..." Togata looked at him.

"Enough already. Thank you. You did your best." Sora whispered to him.

Just then, the wall at the side of the large room was blown to bits. Midoriya, Eraserhead, and Sir Nighteye came in. That small light of hope just shinned brighter.
