Bryan sat in class in silence. He did not want to bring in any unwanted attention to himself so he didn't say a word to anyone. No matter what, he looked at his desk only. If he made any eye contact, it would only bring interest to those around.

Even with that mindset, a part of him did not want to be lonely. As he was in his mind, he did not notice the footsteps slowly approaching. When he snapped out of it, he noticed this person wearing blue and white slip on shoes. They wore a short white skirt. "Hi there! My name is Ayla."

He turned to her in confusion. "Ah- Hi, I wasn't expecting anyone to come talk to me... I'm Bryan."

"Well I noticed you by yourself here looking pretty nervous." She said while scratching her face. "I felt like you could use a friend, you know?"

Bryan nodded. "Well it's nice to meet you."

"Yeah right back at you!" Her cheery smile was comforting. She then pointing at the seat next to him. "Does anyone sit here?" She asked.

Bryan shook his head. "Someone did but they moved away with their friend so I'm pretty much here."

"Aw, I'm sorry." She sat down next to him. "I'm here with you now. Good ol' Ayla will be your friend til the end!"

Bryan's eyes made it pretty clear that he was shocked. She giggled to herself. "So Bryan, What's your level at the moment? Like, your powers and all? What are they?"

He froze. What if she didn't like them? "Eh... My level is at 3.8 and I'm- My ability is called Dark Reflections. I can like turn grey while glowing purple and perform pretty affective attacks."

"Oh really?" She said in shock. "My level is 3.5 and my ability is shockwave blast. Yours sounds way better than mine though."

"NO NO, Yours is way cooler. It sounds like you can shockwave yourself to move around quickly. Plus, you can probably hurt your enemies more." He said, defending her ability. "I find that in itself pretty cool."

"Really?" She smiled. "Thank you Bryan!"

He smiled to himself since he was able to carry a conversation with someone who appeared far more social than he was.

"No problem, just had to tell you the truth." He stated.

The bell sounded which indicated it was time for the next class. Bryan felt defeated inside since this is where he and Ayla would depart from one another for the day.

To his surprise, She turned to him after packing her stuff. "Where's your next class? I'll take you there now."

He put his backpack on fast and smirked as he got to the door, catching up to her. "It's over there at building 500."

"Oh cool, mine is too! I'll walk you, let's go!" She smiled as she pulled his arm. It was as if her golden eyes sparkled.
