I was in between my best friend, Sam Thomas, legs. He and his brother Charlie were playing video games, there mother came in. "who's hungry!" She walker in front of the tv. "Mom you just blocked my shot!" Charlie says and I rolled my eyes. She scoffed and said. "I brought you pizza!" I got up to help her with the pizza. "I assume you're staying?" She asked me as I got it. "If that's ok ms. Thomas." I say. She laughs lightly. "Absolutely, Sam loves you around." She says. Sam then comes behind me. "Mom!" He says. I laugh at him.
Me and Sam sit back where we were. "Hey are any of you free tomorrow night?" Ms. Thomas asked. "Me and y/n are going to watch a movie." Sam said. "I'm hanging out with Olivia." Charlie said. "I have a sleep over with Maryanne, but I can see if I can cancel it!" Kristy says. "Kristy it's fine. Me and Sam can stay here, and watch a movie at home. Right sam?" I ask looking at him. "Fine." He rolls his eyes. "Don't you roll you eyes at me!" I say. "Sorry." He says sarcastically. "I'll make some calls, I'll see after I make them!" She says and I nod. She starts to make calls as I sit back down.
Sam and Charlie stop playing and we go up to his room. I jump on his bed. He laughs at me and goes to his closet. He flings like, four hoodies out. One lands in front of me, so I hijack it. I put it on and he turns his head to look at me. I give him a goofy smile. "Really?" He asks and I nod. "You know your never getting this back right?" I ask. "Yeah, I assumed that." He said. He came and laid down, head in my lap. I played with his hair. He just stared up at me.
"Mom said din-." Kristy saw this and he shot his head up. "Uhhhh hey Kristy!" We say. "One, ewwwww. Two, dinners ready. Three, why was his head in your lap?!? And why do you have his sweatshirt on!?! Are you guys dating?!?" We look at each other. Yes, I wish we were, but we're not. "1. Rude. 2. Ok. 3. We were fouling around I took his sweatshirt and no we aren't dating." I answer.
Sam's pov:
Yes, I know we aren't dating, but I wish we were. I like my best friend, y/n m/n kishi! Kristy leaves and we were about to get up when I speak up. "Sorry if I made something awkward." She just smiles at me. "You didn't make anything awkward. I liked what we were doing." She says and I feel my heart skip a beat. Maybe she likes me too. I really hope so.
