ACT I                   CHAPTER 3
( sarcasm is the lowest wit of form )

"YOU ARE ALL ANYBODY'S TALKING ABOUT." Raven jabbered as she and the others wandered over to the twins getting off the chariot.

Evelyn sweetly smiled to the woman. The tributes around her all stared, some in jealousy, some in awe.

"Come, come. I shall show you your new living quarters."

The blonde pair of siblings followed behind the escort with the mentors behind them. They went up a posh elevator and hit the fourth floor. Eve blinked a few times at how amazing and big the apartment was.

Raven pointed at everything, explaining what type of room it is. After the short tour, Evelyn walked into her own room and shut the door. Her head gently leaned against the wall and exhaled a sharp breath she's been keeping in for a while.

Eve slipped out of her dress and opened the drawers, the options were either silk pyjamas or a top with shorts for sleepwear. The girl knew dinner was in an hour, but her appetite still hasn't made an appearance. All she wanted to do was sleep.

Choosing the top with shorts because it's what she's used to wearing, she changed into them and hung the dress up. It really was a gorgeous piece of clothing, it would be a shame if it got crumpled on the floor.

She walked into the bathroom, wiping her makeup off and brushing her teeth. Once she finished, Evelyn ran her palm over the soft velvet of the duvet. Before getting in, something in the corner of her eye caught her attention.

Small orbs of white glistened the night sky. The blonde grinned at the sight. Finnick's right, the view is absolutely wonderful.

Staring at the stars that reflect her ocean eyes a minute longer, Evelyn sunk into the comfort of the double bed and pulled the covers close to her chest. The oldest out of the twin's eyelids fluttered closed, the last thing she saw was the twinkling stars before letting the darkness take over.

In the living room, Finnick and Ace sat on the couch. The middle child of the Mane family watched whatever projected on the large television while Finnick looked directly at Evelyn's room.

"Hey, is your sister okay in there? She's been gone a while." Finnick said.

"She's probably sleeping. Besides star-gazing and hanging out with me of course, her favourite thing to do is sleep." Ace answered, adding a usual joke. "Eve sleeps with her necklace on and I'm afraid it might choke her one day. Don't think she cares though."

Finnick nodded with a snicker and turned his head back to Caesar and the Game Maker speaking about the tributes.

"Children! Dinner!" Raven called out from the dining room.
