The City Of Nexus is a story based on a Dungeons & Dragons campaign created by my very close friend, Carter Bragdon. The world itself is called Pandora, and everything that happens within the book was actually played and acted out through me, the other Player Characters, and our Dungeon Master. With that being said, there will be some pretty bizarre moments scattered throughout the characters' actions and dialogue, but that should not take away the experience of the story that was carefully crafted by our Dungeon Master.
We are a bunch of nerds (if that was not paved in your minds already), so there will be references to different video games, movies, memes, and other things. In certain sections of the story, there will also be some mention of real-world issues and problems that were integrated into the world, beyond fantasy elements.
For those who will need a bit more context, I (Jossolyn) am currently playing the character Zaiki Indoris. Yes, currently. The campaign is still going on, beyond the foundations of this book. On that note though, I am beyond thrilled to be able to share, not only the creative genius of Carter but the other players as well.
