[INT. EARTH-1219 - HOURS LATER]

[Sean --Hydro's Brother-- is sitting on the couch. Sean ends up eating processed foods and exercising. Doing over 20 Push ups. Sean got a call from his friend.]

SEAN: Hey, JB. What's up?

JB: Man, you're not gonna believe this. I saw the news of 4 kids went missing and got sucked from that uhh-- Paradox Prism?

SEAN: Really? What happened to them?

JB: I Believe these dudes ended up on a missing poster, just like your brother ended up on a missing poster too.

SEAN: Is it some sort of 'Paradox Prism Case'?

JB: I don't think we can investigate this case much further. We're not detectives.

SEAN: Yeah, I hope it's not taking forever...

JB: Oh, yeah, gotta go. See ya outside.

[JB ended the call, leaving Sean curious.]

SEAN: The Paradox Prism...?

[EARTH-9999A - MEANWHILE]

[Hydro stood up soundly in his hospital room, oblivious to the ticking clock of the daily quest he had dismissed as a mere farce. The room was silent, save for the soft hum of medical equipment, when suddenly, a low rumbling jolted him awake. Hydro's eyes snapped open, heart racing.]

HYDRO: What the... an earthquake?

[But as he rubbed his eyes and sat up, he found himself no longer in his hospital bed. Instead, he stood amidst a vast, sunless desert. The air was thick and dry, the landscape barren and unforgiving. A chime echoed in his ears, and a translucent screen appeared before him.]

SYSTEM MESSAGE: "Survive for the next four hours."

[Before Hydro could process the information, the ground beneath him trembled. From the sands emerged an enormous centipede, its many legs churning the earth as it locked onto him with predatory intent.]

HYDRO: Are you serious?

[Back in the hospital, two nurses entered Hydro's room, only to find his bed empty and untouched. Panic set in as they initiated a frantic search for their missing patient.]

NURSE 1: Where could he have gone? He was just here!

NURSE 2: Check the security footage. We need to find him now.

[Meanwhile, Hydro sprinted across the endless dunes, the centipede in relentless pursuit. Every muscle in his body screamed, lungs burning, but he pushed on, driven by sheer will to survive. Hours felt like days, and as the fourth hour approached, his legs gave out, collapsing into the sand.]

HYDRO: Is... is it over?

[Just as the centipede lunged for a final attack, a blinding light enveloped Hydro, transporting him back to his hospital room. The nurses burst in, finding him exhausted and drenched in sweat.]

NURSE 1: Sir! Where have you been?

HYDRO: [panting] You wouldn't believe me if I told you.
