(Y/N)'s POV

I was looking at the current address of this high school that mother enrolled both me and my brother Jermaine in, ever since last month that we moved to South Korea.

Looking up from my phone, Jermaine walks into the living room with his book bag fully zipped up with his goodies inside that we bought from a store that was a couple of blocks down the street.

Not even a couple of months into it, and I still remember when mom had the conversation with us...

FLASHBACK ✨

Me and Jermaine entered into mom and dad's room as we see her ironing some clothes on that table thing. She looks back to see us and smiles, "Ah, there you two are~"

Placing the iron down upright on the table, she walks over and looks down at us, and then she starts,

"So boys, I have been thinking for quite some time, and you might not like this idea. Even your father didn't like it, but I don't really care. Ever since your uncle likes to come over and just start random fights with your father and such, I have decided that...we should move to my home country."

It felt like it took me and Jermaine a good 10 seconds to process what mother just said.

"...WHAT?!" Our mouths gaped open.

"I've already brought the flight tickets and got one of my friends to prepare my house for us, since you know, it's going to be dirty when we get there and I didn't say anything."

"B-But, but..." Jermaine tries to say something to convince her not, but she cuts him off.

"No buts, sweetie. I already told your father and there is nothing that can change on the subject."

We were both baffled by what mom just said. I mean, this was our home! Where we grew up with dad, and don't get me wrong, we never had a mother figure, but ever since dad married our new mother, well technically our stepmom, but we grew up with her, things were different and we didn't mind it at the slightest.

Scratching my head, I just put my phone away as I grabbed a gallon of milk from the fridge and poured it into a bowl, before grabbing a box of cereal of my choice and pours it in (I like fruit loops lol)

Me and Jermaine proceed to eat breakfast as we know mom and dad were already out working like usual, and today is the day that we start attending to our new high school.

"...I'm not excited for this" I hear Jermaine say out.

My mouth just chews on the spoonful of cereal I just put in and looks down, getting another.

"Me neither, but...at least we can start fresh..you know?"

"Yeah, I guess...well, at least there will be some hot chicks over there"

As I looked back up at him, I just shook my head and kept mixing my cereal with the milk.

...Yeah, Jermaine is like that. He is always trying to get girls on a daily basis whenever we're at school back in our country. Always putting on that suave demeanor and tries to woo girls for him, but as you could predict...it barely works.

Minutes later....🕓

Walking through the right streets of Seoul, we follow the directions on the map as we see the many people walking, on their phones and such.

"You know (Y/N), I'm not sure how this school year is going to be for us."

I looked over to Jermaine after hearing him saying that and just shrugged, "Me neither, but...I hope that it's going to be chill."
