„Rubble! I think this one is for you!" Zuma yelled across the yard. He had found a present with a yellow bow and now ran to Rubble. Katie and Ryder watched the puppies from the lookouts balcony. „Hey, Ryder?" „Yes, Katie?" „Do you think the Easter bunny hid presents for me?" Ryder smiled softly. Katie rested her head on his shoulder and he placed his hand around her waist. „I am sure he did. Why don't you see if you can find some?" „okay! I'll call for you if I find one!" Katie said and started to look for her present. Ryder couldn't help but smile at his girlfriends behavior. He and Katie had secretly been dating for a long while and Ryder figured it was time to finally reveal it.

Katie found her Easter present behind a cushion on the lookouts couch. She excitedly unwrapped it. "Aw! That is the necklace I wanted!" She squealed with joy and as Ryder sat down next to her, she immediately cuddled close to him. "Can you help me put it on, Ryder?" "Sure Kat. Turn around." Ryder helped Katie put on the thin silver necklace, just to be tackled down right after. "I am guessing you like what the easter bunny brought you?" The brown haired boy asked, while raising a brow. Katie started to blush and attacked Ryder with tickles. „S-Stop, I-I..." Ryder had trouble catching his breath, earning a satisfied grin from Katie. She leaned down to hug Ryder, whose cheeks had a light rose tint. "I love you Ryder..." Katie whispered. Ryder smiled, wrapped one of his arms around her waist and shifted into a sitting position. "Darling..." "What's wrong Ryder?" "Do you think it is time to tell them?" Katie was silent for a moment.

She and Ryder stayed like this until they heard how the elevator stopped on this floor. They immediately stopped hugging. Just in time, as only a few seconds later, the puppies came running around the corner. "Ryder! Look!" Rockey had gotten a green hat and now wanted to show it to Ryder. "Very nice Rockey." Katie smiled and circled the little pendant of her necklace with her finger. "Wow! When did you get that necklace Katie?!" Skye jumped on the couch and climbed on Katies lap. "Oh, uhm..." While Skye inspected the necklace, Katie looked at Ryder. Her boyfriend nodded and she took a deep breath. "There is something Ryder and I need to tell you." "What is it?" "We... are dating." Ryder said while blushing slightly. "Wait... Really?!" "Yes." Skye gasped.

She somehow had hoped that Ryder and Katie would come together. "Since when?" "February first this year." Ryder admitted with a little smile. Katie hugged Ryder but Chase and the puppies wanted to check if that was true: "If you really are dating.... why don't you kiss each other?" "Good idea. Hey Ry-" Katie was cut off by her boyfriend giving her a kiss right on her mouth.
