My eyes flutter open. A soft breeze brushes my face forcing me to shiver. I prop myself up with my elbow. My clothes are shaggy and ripped. They look like fighting clothes. Ugh, my head hurts.

I managed to walk a few miles before spotting a teahouse. I walk in to find a sweet elderly woman. Her hair fell silver but suited her. She looked like a gentle woman. I noticed a few cars roaming around one caught my eye. Its shiny purple eyes were unnatural.

"Ah a cust-" the lady begins before cutting herself off.  "You're awake?" She asks. She begins to walk towards me and stops right in front of me. I have to push my head down to meet her gaze. She lifts her hand and caresses my face, taking in the texture. "Dear boy. Your rest has come to an end it seems. My mother longed for this day, it's a shame." She shakes her head and goes behind a counter and pours some tea. "Come dear, sit."

I walk over and seat myself. I take the tea she offers me then I start the questions.

"You know me?" She nods. "What's my name?"

  "Ezra, dear."

  "How long was I asleep?"

  "200 years." I freeze.

"My mom was just a kid when her mother died of old age. It was tradition to make sure you were alive, we couldn't move you though."

  "Why not?"

"You were hit with magic. If you were to move with the force of other people, you would have died. Then the world would be doomed, boy."

I look at her. "Why would it be doomed."

"That is for you to find yourself. But I am supposed to give you your things." She points to a chest. I go and open it. Clothes, nice ones. A sword. A messenger bag, filled with things. Shoes, and.. a letter? A book in fact. I open it to the first page. It's titled.

  "Read to find me."

I turn the page. Fancy riding.

Dear Ezra,

My love. If you're reading this, that means you're awake. In this book, I have left clues to my whereabouts. I know you enjoy treasure hunts so you can find me. Though I have asked the original owner, Mary Farrell, was to teach her kins to protect you while you slept and to inform me of your awakening. I'm excited to see you again. Though you might come across people who think I'm female. I am indeed male. Now I know you and I know you have a kind nature but please. Don't get hurt for someone else. Be cautious and find me safely.

  I love you Ez.

  Clue: The nearest village.

"You have the clue. Now excuse yourself and start away. He'll be impatient if you don't." The woman says. I nod in understanding and begin my hunt.
