Ashes fell from the sky.
The hero finally did it. Draedon's finest creations were slain and Calamitas yielded to his blade. Only one step remains, only one more opposition before the world can heal its wounds once again.
Swirls of energy form in the ash-filled arena he fought in, where he had experienced his toughest battles. From this singularity, whispers can be heard. A crunch echoed throughout the empty expanse as the hero walks closer to hear the message his final adversary would have for him before their fated battle. He leaned closer to the spiraling magics, and he heard the voice of the Tyrant once again.
"You now stand at the brink of infinity. The power you have amassed is extraordinary. Valor and deceit, truth and falsehood, loyalty and betrayal... you are beyond these notions."
"All, you have rent asunder as they crossed your path. The very land now bends to your will. Do you not see how the grass parts where you step, how the stars illuminate where you gaze? Terraria itself kneels to you, whether it be out of fear or respect. This is the strength the Dragons held. The primordial power they commanded."
"Little stands between us now. If you did not seek battle with me, I doubt you would have come so far. When you are prepared, seek the grave of the Light, at the summit of the Dragon Aerie."
"I await your challenge."
Silence filled the battlefield as the threads of magic unraveled and traveled to the only place where light falls through the ash-filled sky. The hero breathed in deeply despite all the accursed particles in the air. He exhaled and stored his sword in his pocket dimension and prepared to head back to town to prepare for his final battle.
The world shakes. The Abyss trembles. A piercing screech can be heard from the sulfuric seas.
In a hurry, the hero brought out a conch and raised it to the sky. In a flash of light, he was teleported to a perturbing sight. The sulfuric clouds above the sea are cleared and a massive eye made of light peers from the sky, with tendrils of light reaching from above and into the sea. Ice and lightning fall from the sky as the tendrils of light fight against the being which live in the deepest Abyss, the Eidolon Wyrms.
The hero could see that this was not just an ordinary Eidolon Wyrm, as it was much larger and has alarming control over the space near it. It was a creature that was never been seen or heard of before. The wyrm sails over the clouds, weaving and dodging the multiple tendrils that were trying to get ahold of it. A roar echoed throughout the sea, creating waves of titanic size. Space twisted and lightning rained upon the tendrils, breaking most of them apart.
For a moment, there was silence, then world was bathed with monochrome light. An eerie feeling filled the whole world and the hero felt a pulse of energy originate from the Dragon Aerie.
A beam of light fell from above and cut through the Eidolon Wyrm. Tendrils of light restrained the injured creature, one of them pierced it's heart. The tendril slowly pulled out of the wyrm and from inside it was a congregation of blue energy. The tendrils dropped the corpse of the Eidolon Wyrm and charged into the depths of the ocean.
Alarmed, the hero brought out the Ark of the Cosmos, a scissor-like blade shining with the glory of the cosmos, with the intent to stop whatever the unknown being was doing. With a burst of speed, he split the blades into two and sliced through numerous tendrils.
The eye gazed upon him and the feeling of eerieness doubled. More tendrils descended from the sky and attempted to catch the hero. Pure white wings sprouted from his back and he zoomed through the skies to dodge the tendrils. A beam of light shot towards the hero. He combined the two blades together and faced the beam head on. With a snip of his blade, he split the beam in half. He rushed through the middle to destroy the largest tendril of light. With his blade glowing, he unleashed it's power. With a snip, a massive slash ripped through space and time and teleported the hero through the endless horde of light.
With the central tendril directly in front of him, he readied his blade and flew to it with tremendous speed to rend it asunder. An army of tendrils descended to protect the center and numerous beams of light fell from the sky. With exceptional agility, the hero dodged and weaved through them all and with beams that he couldn't dodge, he cut them with his blade. With a blue flash, a tear in spacetime appeared and cut through all, including the central tendril. But the hero was too late in stopping the entity from what it had done.
White light flashed from under the sea, and an odd object rose from the Abyss and into the sky. It was a rock but it was oddly glowing red, with a red symbol pulsing in it's center. The hero was feeling apprehension from this object just from being near it's presence. The hero rushed to the sky in an attempt to stop the entity from using it but the object rose faster than he could fly. A beam of light impacted the rock and the red glow it once had now changed to white. The rock continued to glow even brighter until a gigantic beam of light was released from it and into the hero.
The hero's eyes widened in surprise and raised up his blade to cut this beam in half. But even the blade that could rend gods asunder cannot stop the catastrophe. The beam swallowed the hero whole and destroyed the land under it, deepening the Abyss even more. When the beam subsided, in his place was nothingness.
A thunderous bellow was heard throughout the world, and a beam made of a myriad of magics pierced through the sky and broke the eye observing the world from the skies into multiple pieces of light.
"XEROC! You traitor! You used the relic you had once sealed JUST because of a threat to your divinity! How low have you fallen, you BASTARD! Do your oaths and promises ever mean ANYTHING!"
But despite the screams of the Tyrant, there was only silence, as fragments of light fall from the sky and the hero and the relic was never seen again.

In another world, a yellow and blue comet passed through the sky. Its denizens gazed upon its beauty, interpreting it as a sign of prosperity and change. The comet traveled through the sky until it crashed into a desolate wasteland devoid of people. A being from beyond this world sleeps in its center until he wakes up to a world unknown to him.

Author's Notes:
Just completed Calamity Death mode and was intrigued by the lore rework of the mod. This idea won't ever leave my mind, so here it is. I wanted to continue writing my other story but everytime I went back to it, I feel the cringe rising from my body and I don't know why. Probably because it was bad? I dunno.
I don't know if this is good or bad so please tell me. I am also not sure about my grammar because I am not a native English speaker.
Please leave a like or comment if you like it, it helps me to continue writing.
