The red head hid in the quiet alley behind the looming, gothic church, watching people pass by her like she didnt exist. Fools the whole lot of them and easy targets. She had been picking pockets and stealing whatever she could get her hands on. Kyouko Sakura was an orphan with no intentions of becoming a foster child. Her father's church was her sanctuary, keeping the police off her tail after food from local venders.
Her eyes scaned the crowds until she spied a girl in a school uniform. Her bright blue hair made her stand out in the crowd and the bag of apple over her shoukder made Kyouko's stomach growl. Score. She waited until the girl passed the alley then slipped out behind her. Blending with the crowds she tailed her until thw crowds began to thin as they neared a park.
Kyouko sped up and bumped her taking the bag as she passed. She laughed, taking off until some grabbed the back of her jacket. "HEY! THOSE ARE MINE!!" She pulled and both girl fell backwards as the apples littered the pavement. Cursing under her breath, the red head jumped to her feet as the girl grumbled. "Jesus if you wanted an apple you couldve asked, Ma..." The two girls locked eyes and stared for the longest time. Kyouko blushed as those blue eyes looked over her beragged apearance. Blushing she grabbed an apple from the ground next to her boots and ran off into an alley disappearing into the night....
Sayaka watch as the red head ran off, apple in hand. She had never seen the girl before but something about her made her stomach do flips. Gathering up the apples off the ground she made one last glance at the alley before making her way back to her apartment. She probably should report the theft but she doubted an apple was wort it.
